Season finale last night. Pretty good episode with a frustrating end. A bit of an overreaction from Alice there at the end seeing as he just bought her a car. Could have easily just explained to Jimmy that being friends with that guy is actually good for her.

O nice, good to know. That was going to be a frustrating ending. They kind of did this long montage to end the episode so I figured that was it.

I thought the same thing on this week’s episode, really liked it but hated the end when thought it was the finale! Now I think they’ll wrap it up really well in two more episodes.

Brian’s line with Gabby’s mom about if I tell you I’m a homosexual can I be excused had me dying. Love this show

I was really late to this show (not a huge Segal fan), but this thread got me to binge it over the last few days. It's amazing. Very Ted Lasso vibes in a good way.

Yeah, that was heavy.

I don't know how they end with finale next week.

They easily had set up the Segel and Ford ending. But frick man, that's what real depression is.

I'm not sure how it ends, but it's a great show.

Just watched the season finale. Harrison Ford has always been a movie star, but I don’t know if I ever thought of him as an excellent actor. This might be the best work as an actor that I’ve ever seen from him. Excellent episode all around.

I haven't seen the finale.

You're spot on man. Harrison Ford kills it. The whole cast is amazing. Bill Lawrence is one my favs.

I just watched the season 2 finale. What a terrific show this is.

If you haven’t watched this show, I highly recommend it.

What an episode.

Surely they know with Ford they have to have a minimal downtime between seasons….

Great great finale- I was fixing to get all up in my feels if Jimmy hadn’t shown up at the train station.

I read that Season 3 is coming, and the show was only ever supposed to last 3 seasons. I’m happy with 3 seasons of damn near perfection.

Absolutely fantastic news.

Show is one of the best current shows on TV. Just solid top to bottom.

Such a great show. I preferred season 2 over season 1.

As soon as Alice put her phone down in the basket I was thinking "O god this is going to be bad." Then it started playing out and I was dreading it even more. The only thing that had me saying he wasn't going to kill himself was there wasn't a "If you are having suicidal thoughts call this number for help" type message at the beginning of the episode that you see now and that the show leans so heavily on the benefits of mental health. Him killing himself would have really thrown that off. Still was very relived when Jimmy showed up.

I think I'm in the minority here but Harrison Ford is actually one of my least favorite characters. I don't in any way dislike his character, but he's kind of a one note character, you know what you're going to get with him in every scene. I would definitely push back on this being his best acting performance (that is 100% Blade Runner), though the scene where he opens up at Thanksgiving was obviously a great scene and a tear jerker.

Derek is the freaking man. I love every scene he is in. When he has Derek #2 over to his other place and D2 is like "does Liz know about this place." Derek: "Yea. But when she's here she only wears leather pants and is known as Vanessa." Then later on they are back at the house and Liz is tumbling rocks and Derek is leaving the house and Liz says "Remember what Vanessa always says?" Derek "Make sure to breath through your nose?" That had me dying.

Somehow I think it could have been even greater if Ted McGinley's character was actually Stan Gabel in his 60s.

In particular, Brian's engagement party episode.

I finally watched the last four episodes last night and man this show has been solid start to finish so far. I really think this will be a show worth a rewatch like Ted Lasso. Apple TV might have the best line up of quality shows in every genre going right now.

I always loved Revenge of the Nerds and Ted McGinley was always great in it. He is a straight killer in this show. His care free, don't give a shite attitude is a wonderful contrast to the rest of the show and then he had the couple episodes of Liz wandering on him, and then he is back to it. He really is great in this show overall.

This show, like Ted Lasso, really has done a great job of casting top to bottom. I really like each character and the actor playing the role. The chemistry in them all is great.
