Brutal last episode but still so good. The Jimmy and the Derek scenes at the end both gutted me.

Protect Derek at all cost Liz you ungrateful whore!

Season finale was solid. D-Train is one of the best characters in a long time. Brian is hilarious.

They probably need to wrap it up in the next season though and go out strong.

You have your own little Thanksgiving miracle because that wasn’t the finale. We still have 4 episodes of season 2

hope it doesn’t go 5-6 seasons as I could see some of the characters become extreme caricatures of themselves

They kind of do that now, that’s what makes it so funny.

This show does hit me in the feels but also very humorous.

Shrinking is top 5 shows, for me, in the last few years.

Last nights episode was pretty funny (like all of them).

Gabby saying she sprained her wrist at homecoming giving a kid a handjob and she had to wear a wristbrace to graduation. Paul's immediate rsponse was "You're family must be so proud". Then Jimmy says "What happened to this poor kids penis" Just a great sequence. For some reason whenever they are in the break room it's always good.

I can't tell you how many times though while watching this I look at Harrison Ford and am kind of in disbelief that some studio had this dude play Indiana Jones just a few years ago. The guy looks too feeble to play an old therapist much less an action hero.

Also, Derek is everyone's favorite character right? That dude is the best.

100%. I was a little nervous in the first couple episodes that we might get too much Derek, but I don't think that's possible. #frickLiz

Last week wasn’t the finale. Today is episode 9 and they have 12 this season. Still a ways to go

Season 1 was absolutely hilarious and probably the best comedy since Silicon Valley

Season 2 has been pretty good, but surprisingly sad and poignant, with some funny moments sprinkled in.

So many great characters though. Harrison Ford is money in this show. Who knew he was so funny?

Derek needs a spinoff. Anyone else not like Sean? He’s annoying AF

At first it seemed like they were wanting you to dislike him or he was just some idiot that would have a line or two. In season two he's really taken off.

So really my only complaint about the show is how much everyone says frick. I know it's odd and I don't care really, but I don't think I've ever heard a show say it as much as this one and it's just weird. I grew up around some pretty foul mouthed people, my Dad being #1. Man he cussed a lot when I was younger, part of being in the oil field I'm sure. Not so much anymore, but I think every character on the show outside of Paul says frick 10x more than my Dad ever did. So much so it's just odd and half the time doesn't even fit in the sentence.

Jason Segel's story RE: how Harrison Ford joined the show is amazing (1:41 mark)

I just started Season 1. Seems pretty good through the first 2 episodes. Figured I’d give it a shot as Apples hit rate with me is very high.
Apple does have an unusually high hit rate. I feel like every show I watch on Apple only has 1 or 2 seasons out though so I’ve reached a stand still in every thing I was watching and canceled. Looked it up and realized I never watched Shrinking yet though so guess I’ll start a free month trial to get through that show while I wait for a few others to come out next year before restarting subscription

Same

That’s why the black chick annoys me. She’s like the black Beth. Cusses unnecessary and always has the best comeback and Aaron Sorkin like dialogue.

Sean is kind of out of place this season. Him and jimmy’s relationship was essentially the focal point of last season but now that is better and he’s kind of in the backseat.

Shrinking is bill lawerence turned up to 11. Scrubs and Ted lasso was laugh out loud comedy with some major emotional moments sprinkled in. Shrinking is more of a 50:50 or flipped ratio.

Season 1 was very high up there for me season 2 was kinda mediocre to start but then the last 4-5 episodes shot back up and is nearing season 1 or may beat it.
