Should I keep watching Weeds?

I started watching Weeds a few nights ago. I'm about 4 episodes in and I don't really give a shite about anyone in the show. It feels like a network sitcom that they let people say "frick" on. It's an 8 season series, which is an undertaking. Is this a show I should keep watching?

if you don't like the beginning, you definitely won't like the rest.
i really liked 1-3, didn't 4-5, liked 6, 7 is horseshite. only saw the first ep of season 8.
Andy and Doug were really the only thing keeping me coming back after seasons 1-3

Andy kept me going for all 8 seasons, it ends a bit underwhelming, but the show is solid to me. I know I'm in the minority around here for liking the show, but I got hooked on it when I started it and finished all 8 seasons in like 3 weeks...
to the OP, at least give the first 2-3 seasons a shot..

I'm like you - I watched 3 or 4 episodes and I want to like it - like Breaking Bad light, but I'm not sure about continuing. I understand it gets grittier, but will it get more enjoyable, is the question. The Shield started off strong, had a couple of dips here and there, then sprinted to the finish. Breaking Bad has been more even, but I'm not feeling Weeds (of course, I should like Sons of Anarchy and I don't.)

I loved the first couple seasons of weeds. UTurn makes the show but I guess if you can't get past season 1 you probably shouldn't watch

I liked the first few seasons. I stopped watching somewhere around season 4 i think.

Pretty much this. Turns to shite around season 4. I just gave up and had no interest in how it ends or ended...hell is it still going on?

I couldn't get into it either. It seems like the people who absolutely love the show almost are all smokers themselves

First 2 seasons were pretty good and it goes wayyy downhill after that. By Season 3, MLP is completely unlikable. If you don't like it now, you may want to give up.

It really falls off after that. You actively want bad things to happen to Nancy and her family after that point. Although Mary-Louise Parker remains MILF-tastic.

I didn't. I quit after season 5 maybe.
The first 2 were definitely worth it, maybe 3 and 4,but after that it really went to shite.

I quit mid-way through S4. Wish I would've stopped at S3. Perfect endpoint, too.
