Did anyone notice that Gemma experienced Woe/dread upon seeing the outfit she was wearing, indicating she wears the same outfit to the same rooms.
So she is not completely clear of Allentown.
My guess is that she knows her hand is going to hurt like a bitch afterwards.

What show are you watching? It’s been a love story the entire time. Yes it’s science fiction but that’s just the genre and the setting.
I think the show is doing a great job giving enough effort to both the science fiction and love story sides because it's tough to do.
I was disappointed by Arrival after I'd heard so much about it because the sci-fi was too secondary to the relationship story. The language translation was solved way too easily and there wasn't really anything learned about the aliens other than what was needed to move the relationship plot forward..
Tarkovsky's Solaris is the same way with the loss of a wife and in that movie the fact that an unbelievably strange intelligence is encountered is barely acknowledged, which is much different from the book it's based on.
In both of those movies the alien intelligence is not given nearly enough consideration in my opinion.
Severance is giving us much more, in this case the complex alien being the company, and the struggle it takes to try to understand it. Being a TV show there is more time but the balancing seems a lot more organic.

I rewatched the episode this morning and it looks like Lumon is present at the blood donation and with the fertility treatments. Is there any evidence that they could have caused the miscarriage?

Apparently we need to pay attention to the locker. It's at the end of the video.

One of the few happy endings in that series
Great episode.
Episode sort of creeped me out.
Black Mirror spoiler coming up I suppose:
Then the robot dog episode came out and showed that the San Junipero episode was in the same world, so not sure it was that happy after all.

We just got to see this once in season 1 right?

Whoever said Lumon is in a company town may be right.

I still don't see any tie in to the goat episode. Any guesses?

I'm guessing it involves genetically engineering the goats. In the real world, goats have been genetically engineered to do research into diseases in humans, to produce antibodies against diseases and larger animals may be able eventually able to be modified to grow organs that can be transplanted into people.

Dieter isn’t a twin. Dieter is Kier’s innie. Dieter got high on either and jerked off. Kier was disgusted and wanted to purge himself of that part of himself.
Call me crazy, but I don't think Helena has mastered the four humors yet.

When Milkshake sends Mrs Casey back, the elevator with teh arrow down, is that was Irv was seeing in his paintings? Like leading down to that floor to what they do to her?
We also don't know who Irv is talking to on the pay phone.

She comes out with her teeth hurting.
Helena calls innies "animals," which implies they have no consciousness, no self-awareness, no philosophy of mind. We don't talk enough about how unspeakably cruel that is.

One of them did try to drown her.

Irv worked at Lumon for 6 years before he was severed.
I think Irv might have been involved in the testing floor, either as someone that was tested upon or doing the testing.
I think he was then given a "blank slate", as his outie doesn't seem to know much about Lumon, despite having worked there and seems to be trying to get answers through his innie.

I think they said 12 quarters, which would only be 3 years.

Pretty sure that was how long he had been severed.
Irv worked at Lumon for 9 years, 3 (or 12 quarters) in which he was severed.

Ahh, good point.
Man, I love this show.

Yeah, because he became self aware or the equivalent of it.
