Who became self aware? Irv?

Sign me up for 'the innies are soulless animals.'
Lumon can sever people and clone people but they can't manipulate the human soul.
That's beyond their science and they cant figure it out.
We might soon be sorting characters based on whether they have a soul or not.

Can’t beleive nobody has mentioned how good and healthy they made Mark look when he was married. We thought work mark was healthy mark and when he’s at home he’s a bit more depressed and disheveled.
But damn they gave him a big glow up for the flash backs to show how good his life was going.

I have felt this before but the e meter thing they had them hold in this episode confirmed it. I think there’s definitely some allusions to Scientology in this show. Culty. The e meter. Weird religion with a diety with weirdly inspirational but esoteric and nonsensical quotes.

So apparently I missed this during the episode Mark and Helly shagged, but my son said those tents they slept in were designed somehow to keep them from dreaming. Dreams would be the only non-reintegration way of remembering what their other half does. Which explains why outie Irv stayed up all night painting, causing his Innie to dream about the black paint.
And yes, this show is a commentary on Scientology and the soulless mega-corporations.

Where was that revealed/confirmed?

I'm not sure. May just be a fan theory. I haven't gone back to rewatch. But it would explain Irv having that nightmare since he didn't sleep in the tent.

So doing some reading on the show. All stuff that’s been in past episodes.
Apparently a TON of stuff in the town of Kier (duh) are named after Eagans. Multiple Restaurants and bars they go to, companies sending mail that we only see briefly, marks subdivision, Irving’s apartment complex, etc…
The company town theory is definitely getting stronger.
Elle.com has a great series on severance. Definitely reading all of their articles now.

I don’t mean to manifest any Woe, but as I was updating the episode title for this week I noticed it’s only 37 minutes long.

They dragged this season to fill a full season, particularly with the mark reintegration stuff.
Gemma one should have been earlier in the season
Kinda just digging in on this take

I'm pretty sensitive to any episode padding. But I really don't think this show has done that at all this season. Every episode is necessary and produces interesting new information and plot developments.

Meh, I haven't minded any of the episodes or thought they were just filler.
As long as we don't get a "Fly" or "Paolo and Nicky" episode, I'm good.
