The show’s original music is just super creepy.

It is, and it fits the show perfectly. "Ominous" is how I would describe it.

I will say though, on my first watch of the show, I only made it through 2 episodes and am pretty sure I fell asleep as well. If I had held on past episode 3, I would have been hooked then. It took me over a year to give it another try, thanks to this board's obsession with it.

what if you were an outie and your wife was sleeping with your innie? Would you mind?

From Outie Dylan's POV, he may not mind as he thinks his innie is him, but we as the viewer know that's not the case, as does his wife. The outie and innie share the same body, but they are not the same person, imo.

I don't think I would mind. It's still me, just a different version. I don't think that is the route they are going though because she was clearly a little creeped out by it. When she was talking to outie Dylan it was almost like she reflected back to what innie Dylan said when he called himself a F up. Like she actually realized that yea maybe he is so she's viewing outie Dylan a little different now. She's off to work and he's there at home eating chips. I think it might cause a little disruption in his outies life.

I watched no spoiler interviews with the cast and crew and some of the interviewers were given advanced showing of some episodes. On multiple occasions the interviewer mentioned he/she had just watched episode 4 and would rave repeatedly about how great that episode is. Again, wasn’t spoiling anything within the episode, just their reaction to it.

Did you watch Dark Matter? I just finished it and a similar type of situation arises - not exactly the same, but it was funny to me that I was watching Dark Matter the same time last weeks episode came out and this question was posed.

Yea I really liked Dark Matter. Did you like it? The ending kind of went off the rails/over the top but overall I thought it was really well done.

I guess I view it a little different than the Dark Matter type situation where he was actually stealing that guys life, this is just regular ol work Dylan. They both know they are married he's just a clueless version of his outie.

Yeah, I did. I liked the concept. I’m a sucker for sci-fi multiverse type premises. Towards the end I was thinking the creators had just watched the Matrix Reloaded with Agent Smith clones, “And me! Me. Me. Me.”

The situations aren’t exact same as the Jasons are a different physical body, but they do have shared thoughts and memories to the cutoff point. For Dylan, they don’t have the shared thoughts and Dylan wouldn’t have known he was married with children if it wasn’t for Milkshake last season, but innie and outie are the same physical body. So if it did happen with innie and the wife, I could argue it’s 2 different people. I could argue the opposite side too though. Lol.

Interesting...

Going to be interesting to see how Mark adapts to the combo of innie and outtie. I wonder if he will flash in an out of each version.

Yes, for sure man.

I only have one thing I want to theorize, which probably won't happen in this episode... but the reintegration of Mark, albeit better from the anti-severance - isn't exact. Mark will start to confuse and still have moments not knowing which is which, just like Petey. - but without the bleeding nose and imminent death.

Thursdays with this show have turned into Game of Thrones type Sundays around season 5-6 level hype not quite 1-4
