The real mystery is why is everyone's car a piece of shite?
Goes with the bland design of the show.

Best thing about this show is no filler episodes. Every show movies the plot along.
I've only gotten into Apple TV the last 6 months or so. They crush Netflix imo on show quality. I've not watched a crappy show yet.

So that thing they did in the chair is permanent?
I think so. She said they’ve improved reintegration since Petey and shouldn’t have the same issues. So they are doing the same thing to Mark.

Nice, makes me more excited for the next episode.

Parts of the show seem to be inspired by other shows and movies.
The Board speaker reminds me of Mulholland Drive, some of the parking lot scenes are reminiscent of Fargo and this episode had a little Being John Malkovich with the tunnel Mark and Helly had to crawl through on their hands and knees.
Plus the Goatland scene made me think of Lost and the Others. I kinda expected Ben Linus to show up.
Milchick seems to be losing faith first with the welcome screen and now black Kier so won't surprise me if he teams with Mark in the future.

It’s supposed to be ambiguous. I love the retro futurism vibe.
Much like Keatons Batman… combo off old/new tech so you don’t really know when they are.

I loved LOST but not seeing the comparison so far.

Ok… FYI, the Ricken book is amazing!
Def download for free in iBooks, it’s so worth it.

Can't believe I'm all caught up. Glad for the weekly drop instead of the binge dump all at once.
I resisted this for whatever reasons but am glad I resigned with Apple TV+.

YES
“You are somewhat trickier to define. After all, you’re one of potentially billions of humans who’ve purchased this tome, who may be reading this exact sentence at this exact moment! So which of these innumerable readers are You? The answer, like the gentle and maligned Tyrannosaur, can only be found by gazing into the past.”
I can’t stop reading.

I told you guys that Dan wrote 50+ pages for this... outside of the actual show.
That's when you know that have a good writer and creator.

Watching first episode. Why is Helly lying about what she saw outside?
And Ira Stone gets screwed again.

Man, I took a gummy before this episode and I wasn’t sure if it was as crazy as I was thinking. The goat people scene was insane.

Husband and I watched S2 Ep1 and realized we remembered nothing from S1, so we binge watched it again and then started S2. All caught up now.
It’s similar to Lost in that we don’t fully know where the show characters are or why they are there. Trying to figure that out is the fun part for Severance, just like it was for Lost.
I think the kid is Mark and Gemma’s daughter. I’m on the fence about Helly/Helena. At first I thought she was ashamed to be an Egan, but now I think she could also be faking Helly to infiltrate the innies.
I thought Irving’s narcolepsy and visions were side effects of him being severed. Like maybe it didn’t “stick” for him and it will show that the procedure doesn’t always work as it’s supposed to.
I’m fully invested and will enjoy reading internet theories as all of this plays out.

Oh my gosh, this book is amazing. I spit food out when I read just the following:
HumpDumpster
This is amazing. I wish they had an actual physical copy of the book I could get for my office.
