I can honestly say I don’t think I’ve ever skipped the intro to any show ever.

Came here to post Stranger Things.

I feel like it’s the absolute best as far as setting the “mood” for the type of show it is

Shameless and my favorite was Bloodlines. If you've ever spent any time at the beach it evokes a lot of memories. The music fits perfectly as well.

Spinoff: ones I skipped every time? Orange is the new black. Why the frick is the intro so long for TV show designed specifically for a streaming platform?

IMO intros should be 30 seconds or less. Breaking Bad was PERFECT for that - clocks in at 18 seconds.

During the HBO glory years, Sunday nights I'd watch Sopranos, Six Feet Under, Sopranos again, Six Feet Under again... two great intros.

Then I'd turn to Adult Swim and enjoy the intros to Harvey Birdman, Baby Blues, Mission Hill, etc.

Gonna admit I always skip them

They're good, but they're verrry long and I've seen each series like 10 times

Not that you ever had a chance to skip it - but why would you.

BSG - (I will refuse to add "re-imagined" as the 21st Century rendition is superior).

Sopranos- classic
Wire - love how it changes with the seasons
Game of Thrones - kind of a must to see where you're going in the ep
Stranger Things - is there a better mood-setter?

I used to always watch South Park until they changed the intro format.
Now they go to commercial after the intro.
