But they certainly do need some work and I think they have said for years they all just want to work together again
Also, I’d have to guess Dr. Jan Itor will be in it as well. He has a recurring role on Shinking and Lawrence likes working with the same actors - his wife included.

I believe they are in production of Shrinking S3 right now so it shouldn't interfere with some of them participating in Scrubs

I guess JD would now be the "mentor" to some young doctor. Don't have high hopes for this.

Didn't McGinley have some medical issues he was fighting? I remember when he played the office boss on Ground Floor, his voice sounded like he'd been gargling razor blades.

Sarah Chalke has been busy voice acting
Janitor did the Middle
Damn, I think that maybe it as far as regular work

Faison was in that Emergence show on ABC that was a sci-fi mystery show about a little alien girl, or something like that, but it only made 1 season.

Zach Braff is not just an actor, but also writer, producer. He has an estimated net worth of $20 million. He’s been busy behind the scenes, even if you just saw him in commercials.

Obviously I am talking about acting

I’ve never seen a single episode as far as I can recall. But maybe I should give the reboot a shot since I have no expectations.

This can’t be about a bunch of young doctors growing into their role as medical professionals - in their universe if their timeline follows ours they all have 25 years of experience as doctors.
I mean, in the original series they were all experienced doctors by the time it ended. Hell, Turk was chief of surgery I believe. So why would it be bad if they were just more experienced doctors now?
I’m in for this if the same people (cast and writers) are onboard, as long as the focus is on these characters and not someone else (like the interns for S9).

I saw a clip recently of him and someone asked him with all the work he’d done what’s the one thing he wants to be remembered for. And his answer was something like “That’s the easiest answer ever. Without a doubt: John C. McGinley, Downs Syndrome advocate.” It was pretty cool.

“We’re going to be wrapped by the middle of August [for the new HBO medical sitcom also starring Steve Carell],” McGinley told Channel Guide, “and then presumably I’ll be going off to do (I’ll be overlapping with) Scrubs. There’s no offer yet, but there will be. That’s an exciting thing for a 65-year-old white male to be able to say in 2025. We’re not exactly in vogue.”

They are all still busy with work outside of Donald. Judy Reyes is on a hit show with ABC so they have worked out a schedule for her to shoot both shows.
All these people are still best of friends and this wasn't going to happen unless they all got on board.

I have a feeling McGinley will appear as a cameo character on several episodes, but I doubt he comes back full time.

The biggest issue is Bill Lawrence. Went his scripts and shows hit, they are the best writing on TV at times... But when it misses, it really makes a pile of dog poop
Are we talking about the same Bill Lawrence? Name 3 better tv director/writers better than Bill Lawrence the last 30 years?

S9 was actually really good. Honestly it needed less Braff and Faison “guy love” and more Coupe/Mosley, Bishé/ Franco.
By the middle of S9, it had real legs. That it was cancelled was really too bad as it was better than half the shite that doesn’t get cancelled.

Scrubs starts filming in October in Vancouver. All the cast is coming back.
Nice.
Did the original film in Vancouver? I thought it was in San Diego or something

One of my favorite shows, I can watch it from start to "finish" (we forget about the last season). I don't want this. Leave it alone. Do something else.

Do yourself a favor and watch the original series now and stop once you get to the end of Season 8.
What's called "Season 9" is a filthy, pirate-hooker lie. All copies and mentions should be boxed up and sent into the sun to be forever erased from history.

So far, only mentions of casting I've seen have been Braff, Faison and Chalke.
