Season 2 will air in 2025, but that will be it. I enjoyed the first season.

Damn

He should be shunned if 1/2 the things he did were legit. But on the other hand, many of those who are accusing him of 'bad things' did keep going back and at least gave the impression of consent.

Not standing up for that sicko, but dance with the devil...

I did like Sandman, and was curious as to where it was going next. Freaking 2 season curse for Netflix tho.

What are the alleged crimes Gaiman committed?

I like the way you put this. I want badly to believe that maybe the culture of ignoring the open secret perversions is ending.

I also want more Moon Knight and Werewolf By Night. They were so well done.

He wrote 14 volumes, and I have never read a bad one (I think I'm on like 6). Supposedly Season 1 went through Volume 7 Chapter 28 so it was headed toward two seasons anyway unless Gaiman or someone else wrote some new stuff. I'm pretty shocked they covered that much in S. 1; that is a lot of story lines.

At the rate they were going they could end at the conclusion of The Kindly Ones. It would probably be rushed and I don’t want to spoil anything, but it could conclusively say THE END.

I’ve read all his stuff, The Ocean At The End of The Lane is his best work.

So what did he do? Groomed a young female I heard? Not shocking always obvious he was way out there. Way out there.

This is next on my list.

I thoroughly enjoyed American Gods. Read it twice in about a three week time.

Harvey Weinstein stuff. While married, young “nannies“ would be approached by him… Let’s just say things happened. Multiple times with multiple individuals.

Yeah, another male feminist who preferred to control women.

Shocker.

Thanks.

Those kinds of numbers give it credibility.

He rightfully should, he's a pretty awful dude.

But it sucks when someone of his creative quality is pretty awful and it ends the possibility of (further) adaptations. Felt this way about Dead Boy Detectives too (that was a fun one).

Nice man. And good you have AG under your belt. You know the drill cant take a sentence or even a few words off. AG was huge and expansive, Ocean is small and tight.

I always thought Gaiman was this generations C McCarthy. And I believe McCarthy also liked grooming and banging young women. Ive only seen one interview with Gaiman and there was no doubt he had some issues. You hate it for the young women involved.

You have to wonder about some of these creatively depraved authors. Alan Moore always seemed a little off in his interviews. Stephen King…well, I could always make a list, but it’s a dark place that some twisted fantasy comes out and gets illustrated, printed, or filmed.
I’ve tried to alter my reading and viewing subjects to kind of shift away from the darkness and obsession with deaths and perversions. It just wears me out. I can’t imagine what it does to people who get accolades for dreaming up grue and horrific situations.

American Gods, Anansi Boys, The Graveyard Book, Stardust, Neverwhere, The Ocean At the End of the Lane, and Norse Mythology are all fantastic and well worth the read. The Sandman stuff is great too if you are in to graphic novels. .

Norse Mythology

I've had this on my list for a while? Worth an Audible credit? If his stuff hasn't been pulled from Audible
