You gotta chill out man, that's another lash out after the WW thread.

I actually don't like the way Bats looks in that photo either.

Step back from the computer.

That's exactly how he looks from The Dark Knight Returns.

Alexandra Daddario was my first choice to play WW and still think she fits the bill the best. And she already has a good base frame to carry the look easily.

She looks close. It kinda depends on how you want the chin to look. She does have the general look down though. She is 5'8 like Carano, who I think everyone wanted based on physical attributes and the face. Carano came to mind to post in the "born to play a role" thread in regards to WW.

Plus she is mid to late 20s giving the flexibility to carry a franchise forward for a good while if everyone is happy with her.

This is an interesting point. Do they want someone to carry forward or are they going to reboot fairly soon. Cavill and Gadot are fairly young but they are going for an aged Batman. Just curious where they are headed. Do they just do the one JL movie then reboot? The window with Affleck is what? 10 years at most?

because I think that the bootleg screenshots of a scene from Sup/Batman looks shitty? It looks like a crappy tv show production right there.

As for GotG, I will be there Friday afternoon watching it. I am actually pretty siked for it and it is one of my most anticipated of the year.

If you're questioning the quality of the pictures, fine. But that's exactly how he looks in The Dark Knight Returns.

Affleck is 40ish so 10 years would certainly be pushing it though they could easily do a Mantle of Batman movie pretty quick and hand it off to someone else.

I meant that she is young enough to do a couple movies on her own if they are able to sell it and she could still do a few JLA movies.

I'm not debating that, but that was the problem all along with putting them in the same film.

Batman has to look dumb half the time because it won't make sense otherwise. THe suit is almost a requirement and takes away from the the detective/sleek fighter/crime-fighter appeal. He becomes almost Iron Man. (FWIW I don't like the idea in the GN either. That doesn't detract from the quality it just takes Batman away from what he is a little too much for me.)

mind the quality

that scene doesn't really get me excited about the movie at all. I'm not a big Superman fan nor am I big fan of Batman but I have seen all the movies and even enjoy the Animated movies. This just doesn't do much for me.

They do have almost two years to work on it. That could be both good and bad.

I don't disagree with you. If you're not a fan of The Dark Knight Returns, you will probably not like this movie. I can respect that, but I think it was great. Most comic fans think it was great. I think they've done a great job capturing everything so far.

So the poor quality of that pic means the movie will look like that on the big screen?

That version of Batman looks better in animated form and not in a giant, thick rubber suit. I get the eyes being lit up but it doesn't do much for me on that either.

Did I say I wasn't a fan? I love the book, love the storyline, love the take on Batman. But they have some hurdles to climb with both on screen at the same time. Comic books can do that easily. Films? Not so much.

By bootleg screenshots, I mean the bootleg screenshots literally. Poor quality has nothing to do with me saying that it looks shitty. The scene looks poorly done to me compared to other Batman movies and even the superman movies.
