This was probably posted before. I'm still looking for the actual footage.

I'm gonna do some searching for that Hulkbuster armor. That to me was worth it.

Some concept art came out awhile back. The Hulkbuster vs the Hulk.

So, how much of a "risk" is it to announce GotG 2?

It's still risky, it just means they are confident.

Guardians can still bomb regardless of the quality.

It's like the Russo Brothers. Everyone was worried "Sitcom directors? Really?" They signed them on for Cap 3 before release. So that turned out well.

GotG looks great. I can't wait to see it. I think these movies were a brilliant idea, and they know it.

I agree, Im very excited about GOTG...cant believe it comes out in less than a week. I wont be surprised at all if ends up being one of the best of the MCU either, although The Winter Soldier will be hard to beat in my book.

Cap 2 is greatness. The fight scenes in that movie are some of the best I've ever seen, comic movie or not.

Marvel's lagging on the Blu-Ray release there...

Haven't seen Winter Soldier yet and I was thinking about that today. I'm surprised they haven't released the blu-ray yet, or at least hinted at its release.

Thought it would be coming out over the summer and looked into it. Think I saw a September or October release date a while ago.

Considering how great that movie is I think Marvel is stupid for not getting it out sooner

I think they went with height when casting Gadot. You can build muscle, you can't build height. She isn't the traditional 6'1, but she is 5'9 with long legs and arms making her appear taller. For those wondering Carano is 5'8 and most other actresses are shorter. It's hard finding a female that tall unless you want to go with a complete unknown.

Alexandra Daddario was my first choice to play WW and still think she fits the bill the best. Plus she is mid to late 20s giving the flexibility to carry a franchise forward for a good while if everyone is happy with her. And she already has a good base frame to carry the look easily.

I have several friends that refuse to watch GotG because they think it looks dumb with complete disregard that it is getting great reviews so far.

I've thought the trailers have been fantastic. I made another thread on a FOrbes article that mentions the power of the Marvel brand. Is it enough to carry GotG to success because nothing else about the film will publicly. An indie director with no mass market appeal, the two biggest stars as voices alone, a completely new property that comes out of left field.

I'm fairly worried it won't be a runaway success even though reviews are solid.
