holy shite - that looks fricking awesome

It looks to have several callbacks to the 1979 television version, particularly the vampires having glowing eyes. That freaked me out the first time I watched the original. Race swapping Mark Petrie and race/gender swapping Dr. Cody wasn't necessary, but I do like Alfre Woodard, so not a big deal. James Mason was so perfect as Straker, so those are big shoes to fill. They didn't show Barlow in the trailer, which is a good thing. I like the spooky atmospheric look with the fog and the full moon. I'll probably give it a watch.

Was looking for this post and glad to see someone posted it.

Really looking forward to this. I wonder if WB pulled this back to Max because they're also doing the IT universe on HBO. Either way, I think it could be pretty well done from the previews.

I love the use of Gordon Lightfoot's "Sundown!"

What an awesome choice for a "theme song."

As does the book. I read it when I was 14-15 and the book was brand new. I swear they are at my window, wanting to come in.

In my head for some reason I always get certain parts of this one confused with The Fog (which I think was actually by John Carpenter).
