And people downvoted me when I said that I hated Fat Thor and hated how they actually kept him that way for the whole movie.

They were right to do so. Fat Thor was one of the best things about the movie.

I guess I'm one of the few I hated fat Thor. Worst part of the movie though is that Hulk didn't get any hits on Thanos.

I’ll say this about Fat Thor. Marvel handled showing depression and overcoming it better than any movie I have ever seen.

If he were at his physical strongest and went one on one with Thanos - whether it be a pure fist fight or Thor with Stormbreaker and Thanos with his sword - Thor beats him handily.

No way.

I loved fat Thor. Him going depressed and into a downward spiral post Snap was very realistic I felt like. Plus it led to some great laughs.

My main critique tho was that he should have been skinny Thor when came time for the big fight. It became annoying watching him slug around on the battlefield. When he first summoned lighting that first time lined up with Cap and Tony,he should have magically transformed back into Chiseled Thor we all know and love thanks to the lightning. He is literally a magical God from Greek mythology, i don't think anyone at all would have questioned it.

In Infinity War, Stormbreaker Thor bitchslapped Thanos with the stones

Thor threw Stormbreaker and hit an unsuspecting Thanos in the chest. We could say he got a lucky shot in

Thanos did a full blast from the gauntlet at Thor and Stormbreaker cut right through it.

He probably thought the Gauntlet would stop it, not knowing it was a kings weapon.

All l got is this... I took my 12 year old daughter and one of her friends to see endgame. When Thor was being recruited from new Asgard while playing fortnight and drinking beer, she leaned over to me and said "Dad, you look like Thor."

Hahaha. Good stuff. My wife’s reaction was similar.

Between fat Thor and Jason Mamoa going dadbod, I’ve been feeling pretty good about myself this year.

I think Russo was going the “internal strength” route as in - Thor had finally found the strength to conquer his inner guilt and doubt.

If he meant ACTUAL strength well, then, Russo is retarded

I’m fine with Cap wielding Thor’s hammer, but I don’t like that he also somehow obtains Thor’s power over lightning. Thor is the god of lightning. At the end of Ragnarok we saw Thor call down lightning without the hammer. Lightning bolts is not a power of the hammer itself, right? Then why is Cap all of a sudden calling down lightning too?

That was bad. The best part of Ragnarok was Odin asking him, "What are you the god of?" and explaining that the hammer was just to help focus his power; he was still the god of thunder.

Then they "sort of forgot" about that, I guess, to have Chris Evans look cool shooting lightning. That was too much.

I still can’t get over Hulk contributions the last two movies, from refusing to show up in the battle in Infinity War to not even going toe to toe with Thanos in End Game. As a hulk fan, I was really expecting him to show up big time and put a one on one beat down on thanos. Of all of the avengers he should have been able to do so, just like Thor. his strength is nearly limitless, the angrier he gets the more powerful he is. I am disappoint.

I agreed until the previous poster pointed out Odin's enchantment on the hammer was "whoever is worthy to carry the hammer will wield the power of Thor".

They bitched up Thor in Endgame. He was scared of Thanos, and seeing that jerk wad Captain America do 100x more damage with Mjolnir was weak. Even had Thor watching him do it with his own hammer and saying " I knew it". Yikes

Captain Marvel > Scarlet Witch > Thanos

Really the only thing lame about Thor was we just had Ragnarok as getting his groove back.

Infinity War and the beginnibg of Endgame as his quest for vengeance for Asgard.

The rest of Endgame as he sulks for vengeance being hollow and viewing himself as unworthy.
