Why can't movie studios make the actors
sign a disclosure to not post anything but promotions about the movie until after it released?
shite like Brie did would be against the contract and pay a hefty fine.

You’re gonna tell black actors they can’t speak out?
Have fun by yourself on your plantation.

Every thread you post in you just argue the opposite point of the OP for as many pages as you can. I barely even read this website anymore but I see your name pop up everywhere. And it's always terrible contrarian troll nonsense that goes on for page after page after page after page
You're the worst

Here is a YouTube video on the latest comics reboot of this character. This version of the character started in 2012 and has been rebooted almost 10 times since. Video is about 10 minutes long and quickly goes over what happens in the first issue.

No. Now you can move on.

Well state employees aren't supposed publicly advertise political affiliation so I'm assuming something similar could happen.

How many people were actually using that feature in the first place? It couldn't have been that many and it wouldn't be all that hard to manipulate.
shite, TexAgs used to sway online surveys all the time. If there was an option for something Aggy related on an ESPN poll A&M usually won just off people from TA spamming the votes.

Are you even aware of who you're talking about? Do you actually know who Brie Larson is?
For the sake of discussion, can you recommend me a few roles of hers that do blew you away you can be confident that she can carry and entire franchise by herself?

You think an academy award winning actress can't carry a movie franchise?
Posted on 2/26/19 at 8:58 pm to rebelrouser
People want to be told what to do, what to buy, what to think. That’s why RottenTomatoes and Democrats exist.

We really have a 14 page thread about this?

Nicholas Cage won an Oscar too. We’ve already established that these awards have lost their meaning over the last decade or so.

Brie Larson is such a dynamic actress that she spent 90% of her screen time in Don Jon texting.
Her supporting cast is really going to have to carry her through this movie. If she is the HNIC for the Avengers moving forward, then my time with the MCU will be about done. DC is finally getting their shite together so I’ll get my fix there.

Nicolas Cage can be really fricking good given the right role. Get outta here acting like his work in Leaving Las Vegas was undeserving. He also kicked arse in movies like Adaptation, Raising Arizona, and Matchstick Men. Just b/c the dude developed huge spending issues and now whores himself out to anything that pays doesn't mean he is a shite actor.

She said she'd like to see more than just white men review films targeted at women of color.
Insecure white dudes everywhere lost their shite.
She basically said that an opinion about a movie has less value depending on the color of that persons skin.
I get what she is trying to say and it would make sense in the context of a story MADE for a minority or representative of a minority group.......not a movie adaptation which shoehorned minority characters in it like Wrinkle In Time or Annie for Christs sake!
This movie was not made for white men! REEEEEEEEE

There is a very slim slim chance of that happening. Thor is 100% the head person for MCU going forward. Captain Marvel is a very powerful character, and she will definitely prove useful in the fight against Thanos and beyond. But character wise Brie Larson won't be anymore of a main character in the MCU than Mark Ruffalo.

Remember when Chris Evans was known for shite Fantastic Four movies and playing a pretty good skateboarder turned actor? Remember when he said mean things abortion Trump supporters?
I remember.

Her comment was weird. I understood what she was trying to say as well. It was just stupid. She was trying to make a point that the movie wasnt for white men, and she wanted to see what black people, primarily black women had to say about the film. The thing is, black folks didn't like the movie either. The folks behind a Wrinkle in Time were hoping to continue the momentum of Black Panther. They thought black folks would come out in droves for this film as well. The movie failed miserably. It wasn't because of white men either. The target market whom the producers were supposedly trying to appeal to thought the movie sucked as well. The only people who liked the movie are those who was going to say they loved it no matter what.

I can't wait to see this fail. Keep your fricking politics out of movies.

Captain Marvel is the defacto leader currently in the comics right now for the Avengers and their centerpeice. Not Thor.
Also to me this will always be Captain Marvel.
