Yes. Every season I wanted him to get punched.

JR is one of the most charismatic characters in the history of television? GTFOH with that nonsense.

Unlikable to me means they made the show worst. Joffrey didn't make the show worst.

Nelly from the Office made the show worst. Toby didn't make the Office worst, he made it better simply by Michael hating him.

You've got to stop mixing up "worst" and "worse."

The simple question was "the most unlikeable" - considering I doubt ANY sane person actually LIKED Joffrey means he was unliked.

Unliked in a sitcom isn't the same as unliked in a drama. In a sitcom you want them to go away; in a drama you want to watch them die.

Debra Morgan

Great answer. I recently did a Dexter rewatch. I remembered Deb being really annoying during the last few seasons of the show.

After watching it again, she basically sucked from the start. Selfish douche. Grating voice. I guess I didn't notice as much the first time around because the show was so good for the first 4 seasons.

I’m only on Season 1, but I genuinely hate Tony’s mom (can’t think of her name and don’t wanna google in case of spoilers) from The Sopranos

Agreed. I think the intent was to have her extroverted personality be the ying to Dexter's yang, but she was a really obnoxious character who often was her own worst enemy.

I suppose this is another instance of an actor selling the role though. My sister has said Jennifer Carpenter is a sweetheart in real life.

I’ll get downvoted, but I’ve always found the character unbearable and unfunny.
