Ron is a libertarian. Dwight is a full blown republican capitalist. They wouldn’t mesh at all.

Dwight could almost be considered a male Leslie who also like outdoors and farming. He would be better than Leslie because he would suck up to Ron by crushing every project and grinding the government to a halt. He would help Ron downsize the government not do everything to keep all employees and projects rolling.
In summary, he would keep the staff small and as assistant manager (assistant to the parks and rec manager), he would do everything while Ron sits in his office.
Ron would love Dwight.

I think I should change my answer. Everything I said is true but Dwight sucks up to power. Initially that would be Ron.
But... at some point the parks department would come into battle with the City Council and Dwight would betray Ron. Yup. Ron would get Jammed. Dwight would become the protege of Jeremy Jam.

Ron would respect his entrepreneurial spirit, but he can't stand a kiss arse. So I guess he would happily buy paper or beets from him, but they couldn't work together.
Edit: Obligatory mention that Nick Offerman and Rainn Wilson are friends in real life. He even built him this table.
