I say top 5 all time.

Awesome movie. James Bond as a cry baby.

I always thought it was fine and I enjoyed it but nowhere near top 5 or even 50.

On the list of feel-good family comedies?

Dead last.

Probably my #1 gangster movie.

Hanks and Newman are awesome. Jude Law's character is creepy as all get out. Great story.

Great under-the-radar movie. If you haven't seen it yet, it's a definite must-see.

I enjoyed it, and rank it about even with Miller's Crossing. Not in my top five mafia movies.

Just no.

Road to Perdition is a bad, extremely overrated movie.

Flame away.

Massively overrated by some.

It’s an above average movie.

Spoiler alert on a 15 year old movie.

Whole movie is underrated but...
The scene where hanks kills Newman is one of the best scenes in any movie.

Honestly Newman’s whole performance in it is classic.

I didn't remember this movie existed until I saw this thread. It wasn't bad by any means, but completely forgettable.

I've mentioned it here before, but fun fact:

the kid went on to play baseball for UC Irvine and was the last out recorded at the old Alex Box Stadium.

I remember driving a little over an hour to go see this movie in the woodlands because for some reason the theater companies in my town didn’t carry this movie. Anyway, I remember leaving thinking it was ok but not worth the drive.

I’ve since seen it a few times over the years as I’ve gotten older, and I’ve come to appreciate it more than I did when I first saw it in college.

Hanks was great, one of my favorite roles of his, but the scene between Daniel Craig and Paul Newman after Craig kills the family was intense as hell. There's James Bond on the ground cowering in terror as 80 year old Paul Newman chillingly curses him for being born, and both actors completely nailed it.

Weird that this movie isn't loved more on this board. Great fricking movie, and one of the more underrated films ever.

It's a good movie. It's just kind bland in the grand scheme of things. I think it's while everyone brings the A-game to it, It's not anyone's best performance or what they will be remembered for.
