Firefox, with clint eastwood, where eastwood steals the russian war plane. the year was 1982. i was five years old and E.T. was sold out in Alexandria. i went with my dad. My mom was gonna take me to E.T. but went shopping instead. Firefox was awesome! I would later see E.T. a few weeks later...

Jackie Chan's "Rumble in the Bronx."

It was terrible. It made me think I wasn't missing much with R-rated movies.

First "R" movie in a theater was probably some dumbass Steven Segal movie when I was 12 or 13.

First R movie ever: no telling. My brother is 8 years older than me and a terrible influence.

First time to see tits in a theater: Irreconcilable Differences in 1984 when I was 7 or 8. I had some innocent little kid crush on Drew Barrymore from E.T. Mom told me to cover my eyes when they showed Sharon Stone's tits. I pretended to do so.

Strangely enough, several years later I woke up from a nap in a hotel room on vacation to my dad watching Basic Instinct with my mom telling him to change the channel in case I woke up, and I pretended to keep sleeping. That's two awkward parental moments Sharon Stone has caused me.

ETA: Fixed for Big Apple (Jesus, I must have been tired when I typed that )

Dude I don't care how old you were, what most concerns me is your ability to confuse Sharon Stone with Glenn Close.

Btw- the answer to the question is Animal House at home in about 1980 when I was 12. First day of cable television. Huge moment.

National Lampoons Vacation when i was about 5 on video at home.

We all loved the movie and watched it all the time...after the tenth viewing or so, my dad even went as far as to copy the movie onto a betamax and edit out the scene when Beverly D'Angelo is in the shower...even though the copy we had from then on was edited, the image was burned in my memory long after that.

Hmm this is a tough one since we had HBO at home and my parents didn't care what I watched.
First one I remember was probably Rambo First Blood when I was about 6.

No way I would remember this. No censorship in my house, so I didn't even know what a rated R movie was until I was older. They were no different than watching a Disney movie to me.

there was censorship in my house, and my parents were real hard core about sex-related stuff

but i had a friend where anything was game. we could watch anything, and say anything (other than the n-word)

i started hanging out with him around age 4 or so, and we'd always rent a ton of r-rated movies on our way to his place in the country (there were only 2 things to do out there: (1) play outside and (2) watch a ton of movies)

i think the first r-rated movie i saw at my house was major league around 5 or 6. i woke up purposefully before everyone in the house and watched it really low before they all woke up

Pretty much the same here. I grew up in a Sunday church kind of family, but for some reason it was ok and fun for the whole family to go and see R Rated movies(when I was like 5-9). I remember I went to see Monster's ball with them. That had to be top 5 of most awkward moments in my life. I sank it my seat during the sex scene

Good Morning Vietnam when I was 7 or so. Still don't see too much wrong with watching that movie at such a young age. The war scenes were war scenes but shite, that's about the only offensive element of the movie that I remember.

Now just a few years later (when I was 10) I saw Cliffhanger. There was a lot of cursing in that movie. So much cursing...

About the same time I saw Speed. Pretty mundane rated R movie except for a little language and Hopper's head getting knocked off in the end.
