Just started watching season 1. Looks to be good judging from the 1st episode. Am I going to enjoy this or what?

I rate this on the Danny McBride HBO comedy scale. Eastbound and Down and Vice Principles are 1a. and 1b. All time great comedies. Season one of this didn't really find it's footing and was just ok imo, but got better as it went on. Season two was pretty dang funny. Season three looks to be top notch comedy.
