However, one key thing is that the central finite curve is (was) composed of all universes in which Rick is the smartest. Now that the wall has bene broken, we could see versions with Summer, Beth, Jerry, or even Diane as the 'boss' or smartest that they have to face. Super-Jerry could be a really hateful guy to C-137 and Morty.

Not just the fam, but those universes that were previously outside the curve could have just random people smarter than Rick. It opens the show up to have literally anyone be capable of outsmarting Rick, assuming they can get through the tear.

And since both Rick Prime and Evil Morty were within the Central Finite Curve, you should have even more intimidating antagonists. Keep in mind they locked all the Ricks and Mortys out where Rick isn’t the smartest person in the universe. Simple Rick came from one of these and was abducted by Ricks within the Central Finite Curve.

Holy shite. I just realized that everyone in Doofus Rick's universe is more stupid than him.

The guy eats his own shite.

Not great, not terrible. This season is obviously about Sumsum girl power, and that's ok.

Interesting to see where R&M's relationship goes now that Rick-C137 has successfully ejected the parts of Morty Prime that are distrustful of him.

Are we sure this is Rick-C137 though? Had a few of these last season where they were another family.

Well, in Solaricks this Rick was sent back to the universe where Prime Rick killed local Rick's Diane and Beth. I mean, I suppose there are infinite iterations of that happening, but it would be the dumbest of scenarios for us to just happen to be following one of those other Rick's who lost their Diane and Beth to Prime Rick than Rick-C137.

Y'all have to know how confusing this is to the casual viewer, right?

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existential catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools. How I pity them.

Awkward episode last night. Loved Summer and Morty's reactions, especially them eating dinner alone with Ruck at the end.

Jerry's pill bug protocol was fantastic.

Also interesting Rick created essentially his own version of Roy where one can live out a full life in a few minutes.

Ok, so...

1.) Pretty much confirmed this is a Summer centric season

2.) Night Family was creepy as frick. Creepiest episode in the series.

3.) No portal action. Rick just flew across the universe for the space plates.

So Rick and Morty just blatantly stealing from the movie Us?

This season has not been nearly as good as the others.

They pretty consistently copy movie themes. That's not new by any stretch.

The first 2 non pilot episodes, lawnmower dog and anatomy didn't seem inception and jurassic parkish to you??? They've literally been doing it since day 1.
