Rusty: Hey dad, you must have jumped this thing by about 50 yards!

Clark: Nothing to be proud of Russ.

[pauses as Rusty walks away]

The Christopher Columbo line was always my favorite. I like to use that for any question I don’t know. It always works, kind of like “that’s what she said”.

Besides the French Kiss and the whole Cousin Eddie and Nudie books and BBQ scene...

The best scene is the entire lost in downtown St. Louis.

Ellen: Clark what're you doing? This is so dangerous, we have no business being in an area like this.

Clarke: Well just look at this way honey, this is a part of America we never get to see.

Ellen: That's good.
Clark: No, that's bad. We can't close our eyes to the plight of the cities. Kids, you noticing all this plight?

(Gunshot)

Clark: Roll em' up!

[Delivering the eulogy for Aunt Edna] “O God, ease our suffering in this our moment of great despair. Yay, admit this kind and decent woman into thy farms of thine heavenly area up there. And Moab, he lay us down upon the band of the Canaanites, and yay, though the Hindus speak of karma, I implore you, give her a break.”

“Clark...”

“Baruuuuuuch Ataaaaaaah Aleluuuuuuuyah...”

“Clark, this is a serious matter, I'll do it myself!”

“Honey, I'm not an ordained minister, I'm doing my best.”

it really sucks that they don't let you park in the back of the parking lot at theme parks anymore.

Any time someone says something about 50 yards I always say, "50 yards"

And to bring one in from Christmas vacation, I always use, "that there is an RV, Clark" whenever applicable.

There just isn't a joke that didn't land or a scene that didn't work in the movie.

One of the most rewatchable films of all time.

Ellen: "Gee, Cath, it really looks like you've got your hands full."
Catherine: "Oh, it's not so bad. Eddie says after the baby comes I can quit one of my night jobs."

That line always gets me.

There's a great cut-away to her baby sitting there at the table while she's kneeding bread and the baby looks toward Ellen with an expression of "I'm fricked."
