Started watching this show last week. On season three now.

Best show I have seen in years.

:spoiler:

Just saw the episode when tommy finds out his brother is banging his wife. It was awesome.

After season 2 or 3, the last season is the only one I found worthy of watching.

Tommy's BS gets old. Plus he stops nailing hot chicks in later seasons.

Yeah it's been a while since I watched it so I forget at what point, but it trails off towards the end. For a few seasons that was a really good show though. Very intense at times

1-3 seasons are pure gold. Everything after that is complete shite if you ask me.

Watching the final season is like pulling teeth.

I enjoyed the entire series. It definitely slows down a little, but it's still worth watching. And the ending was really good IMHO

Turns into pure soap opera after season 3. I didn't care if Tommy was drinking or not, who he was fricking or who died.

His ex-wife, while being smoking hot, is the epitome of a batshit crazy woman.

I liked the show throughout the run. But yeah, it slows down some halfway, and Tommy (and Janet) are constantly going in circles with their problems. The joy of the show, for me, were the side characters. Specifically Lou, Garrity, Jerry, Needles, and Tommy's extended family. And sometimes they'd have these prolonged comedy bits that were great. Like this, a mini-episode.

agreed with all of the above - about halfway through the series it took a turn for the worse but it wasnt unwatchable and i was already invested so i kept going.

good not great show. first few seasons were money though.

Lou's trials and tribulations are the only thing salvageable in the later seasons
