I don't know who is. Throw around some last names so I can see if I know them.

Look, if a show on Bravo is getting me to look forward to it and DVR it AND talk about it to friends, then it's more than just a show.

It's not a common practice to make $120,000 purchases in cash right now. Check, sure. Cold hard benjamins, not so much.

About that episode:
How many bars do YOU know have that many hot chicks sitting around and no dudes in sight?

There was a bakery that was fairly obvious, a couple of restaurants, some kids that I knew at Newman, some folks I went to Jesuit with...

FDIC limits on a single bank are only, what? $250k now...
I'd have most of my shite in cash right now if I had that much money. Even if it was mob money.

I thought this was hilarious! That's what she gets for having phone sex with some guy for months, never getting his real name (guccimodel, really). Probably some fat, balding guy that just got off on the phone sex.

You don't have to say first names but I really would like you to throw out a last name or two. Its not as if you'd be letting some big secret out of the bag. I am not from South LA so I just wouldn't know this.

There are ways to insure your money without relying on the FDIC. Also, you can put your money elsewhere. Cash is just silly considering it doesn't bear interest and THAT isn't insured, either.
But if you want to go all cash, go for it. I wouldn't recommend it.

In a deflationary economy, cash is your best bet. And I'd rather be responsible for losing that much money than putting the trust in a bank or the feds right now.
Just sayin...it isn't a bad idea right now.
In short, the show still sucks and I haven't watched more than the previews for it.

but yea, there is a lot of mafia in New Orleans.

My bad. I thought that he was related to the other two. Just read the bio (I think that is the first time I've ever gone to Bravo's website...).
My mistake.
Still...

well they are living in big houses and driving nice cars and she has more plastic surgery than joan rivers. I'd assume they think that

mob
They may not be involved in the "mob". Just some shady business practices. Just because you are Italian and involved in illegal activities does not automatically equal la cosa nostra.
I agree though, I doubt any high level "family" member would want one of his "captain's" wives shelling out $120k in cash on TV.
I gotta believe the IRS is watching this show.
