Yea good questions here. I'm baffled. Maybe he was somehow involved with the general and helping him from the states and the files linked him to the general?

I havent watched episode 4.
But these people obviously have made a death pact.
This is the SOP when identified.
The interesting story line (I hope) is why a death pact. You dont read about or see human self destruct buttons these days. I am imagining the head of this is named Doofenschmirtz.

Yeah, my guess is that they are either Putra's wife and daughter or something like that, and they are out for revenge since the congressman said that when the U.S. found out that he used what they taught him against his people, the U.S. sent people to deal with him (forgot how they phrased it exactly, but that is the gist). So I'm guessing that the drive that Anna got has the names of the people involved with dealing with Putra.
But with that said, that is still just a guess on my part. One thing this season has done well imo is that they are keeping you guessing on what actually is going on. I still am not sure how the Reds (or whatever it is Reacher calls them) play into this unless they are just hired mercenaries that were hired by an Indonesian faction that opposed Putra's government. And I'm still not sure how the congressman's chief of staff fits into it all to the level of having to kill himself when he was confronted.

that's how i'm leaning as well.
