I can’t believe how good it is, when I think about all the other crap they’ve made. This should have been episode 3. Episode 2 should have been Anakin turning to Vader and then cut a bunch of stuff out of whatever was left to make episode 1.

This is probably my 3rd favorite Star Wars after empire and new hope

Rogue One is a mediocre vanilla movie until the last 10 minutes…which is just ANH fan service

I don’t get the love

The main characters sucked

My issue with Rogue One is that the majority of the characters are so easily forgettable.

Agreed.

And to those that refuse to watch this, Kathleen Kennedy (who has no vision and shouldn’t have a job) gives creative freedom to the filmmakers. Fortunately the team behind Andor has a great track record.

This board blowed its load embarrassingly all over rogue one. Movie was unflavored jell-o

I love “Rogue One”; a top 10 favorite movie of the 2010’s for me.

The trailer for Andor looked a lot better than Obi-Wan and Boba Fett, but Disney has fooled me with good trailers before. I’ll give Andor a shot, but I don’t have high expectations for it.

Keep claiming they have a “great track record record” and I’ll continue to make you look like a dumbass. Too easy

Felicity Jones was great in that. She should have been Rey.

it's just boring, until the very end and by then, I didn't give a shite.

I like the second half. The first half is pretty boring, and Saw Guerra is a horrific character

The first half had that awesome Falujah ambush scene on Jedda and the air strike on the research lab. That scene with Andor holding the sniper rifle while Jen attempts to confront her father had real urgency, tension, and stakes rarely felt in a star wars movie (where even the great intense moments like Luke in the Throne Room don’t feel like there is a time crunch). It felt much more like a cold war spy thriller than a scify fantasy.

Horrible movie. Incredible that they could have such a huge cast of characters and not a single one was memorable or worth caring about in any way. Forrest Whitaker gives his worst performance ever, and Donnie Yen is totally wasted. The guy with the lisp plays the same villain he plays in every movie. What a shame

That's why I think this has way more potential than, say, Kenobi did. POTENTIAL.

This is a completely untapped storyline, and yet more essential to the day-to-day rebel cause than attracting a Jedi to the movement. Lots of OSS style missions.

If you drop this one in and compare it to the other Star Wars Movies after the original 3 the this is a bonified classic This one at least kept me in my seat and i can do a rewatch on. Can't say that for the other trash they produced after the originals.
