Anyone who ranks 7 and really 5 over season 8 read the spoilers there’s no other way to explain it imo. 5 and 7 were baaaad and the pure entertainment level and cinematography of everything up to the finale was at minimum entertaining. Now if I knew what they were trying to “build” to I would have watched it pissed off when I saw the crap they wasted around with

Damn. Season 5 gets a lot of hate. What's the issue with that one? Not sure I remember why I should not like it....

People actually only hate 5 because every main character is at their lowest point in that season. The Dorne stuff is horrible, but it's not important enough to warrant hating an entire season of TV. People just parrot that because they hear other people say it.

I’ll put it simply for you: the end sucked. Period. It was only D&D misdirecting the audience to the point of lying and at least undermining half of the main character’s arcs. When Jaime and Brienne’s entire arc turns into the DENNIS System, you really fricked up.
