I’m not sure if it’ll be another Fincher/Sorkin project, but Zuckerberg is going to need a sequel with his melding of Facebook into the Matrix with the Metaverse and his simultaneous real-time personal melding into Lex Luthor. Both played by Jesse Eisenberg in the maybe most meta casting of all-time. Perhaps we already are living in a simulation.

It's a good movie, but best film of the decade?

BTW, I clicked on that link.

It should be called "The 100 Best Films of the Decade*"

"* - anything made by Marvel, or featuring animation, should not be included because we hate enjoyable things"

Okay, maybe some folks don't like the formulaic approach of Marvel and that turned them away from otherwise great movies for this list, like Captain America: Civil War, Winter Soldier, or obviously Infinity War.

What about Into the Spider-Verse? It's:
A.) A great story featuring a coming-of-age character
B.) Great humor and fun
C.) Amazing and new animation techniques that they basically copyrighted because of how innovative they are

You cannot tell me that Into the Spider-Verse is not one of the 100 best movies of the decade.

It's just one man's opinion, calm down.

It’s my favorite cartoon of the decade by a mile. Pixar wondered through the wilderness for a while.

Honestly, outside of maybe Coco, Disney animation beat the pants off of Pixar for most of the 2010s.

Lot of good picks in here.

Mine might have to be Mad Max.

Going back another decade is much easier:
1) No Country for Old Men
1a) There Will Be Blood

Never liked it, but I was young when I saw it. It probably has more scope now. But I'd rather hear Quinton's opinions on Top Gun.

The first time you watch it, you hate it, but it’s a really great film

Not the best film by Academy standards, but it’s the movie I enjoyed the most. Ready Player One

I think it’s got to be Knight of Cups.
