I work in the tech field and always laugh when I see a mostly female cast working as the tech experts. If you had a room of ten people working on any technical project, you would be lucky to find .5 women in that number. But in Hollywood, the tech expert is always some young, snarky woman.

Take this Twitter thread. I follow Eric July and like him a lot, and here he links to some chick who states the obvious we all know. If you go into her thread, you'll see EXACTLY why activists are pushing this stuff and how there is no interest in creating any actual quality content. It's all about pissing off the right people.
