Those 3 women were lying or just making up their story because you can not skip your muster station meeting. They track every single passenger and will call your name over the loud speakers if you don’t go. I know they did it differently back then and you met at a specific time in a group but the entire ship shut down and did it at the same time. You couldn’t skip it and go to the bar because there was no one working the bars and the area was probably being used as a muster station.

I saw the trailer and I was like ok, the power lost, the pooper filled up and you had to use a bucket for a day or so. Gotcha... Is that it? They were acting like it was Lord of the Flies or something...

I work on a drill ship for three weeks at a time. I also have no desire to get on a cruise ship. I see them passing by all the time in the gulf of America. That’s close enough for me.

Yep, even after Covid and the online muster training, you still have to stop by the muster station to say you know where it is and go on with your cruise. Back then you had to go through the short training at the muster station.

You can totally hit up bars these days on a lot of lines before your muster sign in. Haven't been on Carnival recently, but RCCL/NCL/Celebrity have a few bars open.

3.5 days, happened really early 5AM or so on 2/11 and they got into Mobile close to 10pm on 2/14.

Didn't look terrible until the tug boats started towing them and the all the sewage overflowed into the hallways. Which was on the afternoon of 2/13.

The food lines sounded like it sucked too, waiting 2 hours for even worse than usual cruise food like soggy sandwiches.

Doc around Carnival Cruise ship completely lost power.

I was on that ship 2 weeks before that incident.

All I got.

It taught me that I don’t like cruises.

Jen, the cruise director, scared the crap out of me with her wide open crazy eyes. Close your eyes a little. You look like a clown.

I've actually been on a cruise with Jen before. She's actually really cool. My group won a trivia contest and they ran out of those plastic trophies so my wife and I didn't get one. We got back to our cabin and Jen had left a note saying we had free reservations at the steak house that night. Not the best steak ever, but beat the hell out of a platic trophy.

Dang! You were unlucky because the steakhouse on the Carnival cruises I have been on are seriously legit. I always order filet but they have been as good as any steakhouse on land. Of course, that can all come down to who is cooking that night but the quality of meat was very good.

Some of you try way too hard to seem bad arse…being on that boat would be absolutely fricking miserable, they could have picked less annoying people to be the voice of it but I don’t think anyone is soft for calling that hell

I was most surprised about that disclaimer on a ticket for a cruise. Who knew ?

Some of those cruise ships look ridiculous. It’s like Scotty said in The Search for Spock…

The more they overthink the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain.
