Though how she'd come across that in a produce company or where things are in powder form.

f there isn’t a way to bring back folks to normal life, I’d start yelling at all of them and have them start dropping like flies. One little bitch and moan session killed 11 million of them. And almost 1 billion were already knocked off with the take over? Could have most of them eliminated within a month at that rate
That was my strategy. fricking blow my top regularly and wipe those frickers out. Then hope to start over with one of the 11, and pray one of them is Sydney Sweeney.

it was so boring. I fell asleep three times and I had to rewatch it just to make it to the end. So obviously I did watch, what the hell is your point? Were there shelves of vegetables laying about? Yes there were. But I also picked up that there were bags of dry goods, which is how she found out where to go. From looking at the bag of dog food. Clever girl, that Carol.

that was two completely different facilities… the bags of powder were at the dairy and the mystery cold storage items were at the dog food processor
her visit to each was interrupted by at least half the episode

Never said they weren’t. Good grief.
In fact, I made reference to exactly that.

I think its clones of her. They are resting the lines to try to get her infected

A clone of Carol would definitely yield that sort of reaction. Or what if it was her partner?
Thought hadn’t even occurred to me.
Sort of think that a project like that would be more guarded or disposed of once they left. But then again they probably never imagined she would find it and of course they have literally the entire planet at their control so doing that somewhere else is super easy for them. They’re probably doing it for everyone else not infected either so…

When does Bob odenkirk make an appearance and in what form?
You know 100% it's coming.

I think the virus is built for max efficiency. They wouldn't waste bodies either snd she may have found them stacked up

I really thought I was going to HATE this show but I"m completely hooked now. Slow but deliberate pace.

It's been like a week since the big event that infected most everyone. A little quick for full grown clones?

Yeah, 8+ days. They’d have use of the finest labs on the planet but … a food processing & storage facility?
Soylent Green.
Soylent Green.

This seems to be the majority opinion, but it seems way too obvious for Gilligan.

True. I can see sitting down to a meal being wasteful for them though. Here is your "soylent green" that has everything you need to keep the hive functioning. Speaking of, if it is a hive mind then you have a queen somewhere

The lab rat.

I don't disagree that there is some maintenance required (the amber liquid) to maintain the connection, just that deriving it from human bodies seems a bit too trite for VG.

I know, because they claim they’re super anti harming living creatures.
But we’ll see.
But we’ll see.

That would explain the “order” to release all zoo animals. I mean, it could be seen as a not harming other creatures, but that’s not necessarily harming other creatures. If anything, they are treating carol this way by “giving her space” yet still feeding her from afar.
The lab rat may somehow be in control.
If the lab rat were in control somehow, what would be the overarching global mission? Rats also don’t live very long so what would happen when their queen died? And why does emotion bother them so deeply?

quote:not necessarily and this is not an insect-type hive. With insects there is a clear division of labor within the hive and each member does not share the overall experience of the hive, just their own. Also, there is the need for reproduction which only the queen can provide. Only very few of the hive have any interaction with the queen and never communicate with her in any way.
Speaking of, if it is a hive mind then you have a queen somewhere
that’s not the case here at all. It seems that the psychic “glue” is something altogether new (it is of course alien in origin)
