Monsters, Inc knocked out Up, which it should have. Up's opening sequence was one of the best in any Pixar movie...but the rest of the film is just OK, IMO. LINK

For the sake of clarity, Frozen was only seeded that high based on it's critical rating combined with it's fanfare. In future tournaments it would go down the list. But the difference between Frozen and Cars is the critics score.
Thanks. Because as a movie it sucks. One female lead, Elsa, that is severly underdeveloped (besides being a total bitch), and another, Anna, that is Forrest Gump stupid. Neither are good role models for girls. Parents sucked, how about visit the trolls before your witch kid shoots an icicle through your stupid kids cranium. It took Anna "dying" in sacrifice for Elsa in order for her to realize she can actually control her powers. Wait what? Anna wants to be her best friend after the head shot, after she doesn't speak to her for 15 years, after she climbs a freaking mountain to try to bring her home, and that wasn't good enough? If Anna had an IQ greater than potato she would have let Hans execute her bitch of a sister and then have Sven gore his arse to death. King Kristoff the Cold and Queen Anna the Not Completely Useless. And how the Hell do you let the guy that just tried to murder the Queen get sent back to his kingdom for his brothers to deal with him? Elsa should have frozen pieces of him one by one and had them shattered with a hammer.
You know on second thought, I think this movie could have been good if it wasn't Disney cartoon, and was R rated.

1 Finding Nemo
8 Tangled
Tangled is a fun, but deeply flawed movie. Nemo is one of the crown jewels of the Pixar empire. Though it stresses out Mowgli something awful.
5 WALL-E
4 The Incredibles
Wall-E is just a beautiful film. It's amazing and near perfect.
11 Monsters, Inc.
3 Toy Story 3
One of the toughest calls, and while I really love all of the Toy Story's, the Monsters series is fairly perfect. If you don't cry when Sully opens the door at the end, you are an inhuman monster.
7 Wreck-It-Ralph
2 Frozen
Ralph is gonna win due to the demographics of this board and blowback to Frozen's immense success, but y'all are all wrong. I do like Ralph, but Frozen is the best Princess movie since Sleeping Beauty, and it has the best songbook of any Disney musical not named the Lion King. It's really fantastic, and it will firmly sit beside Snow White and the rest as one of the true Disney great films.

I feel like addressing the anti-Frozen rant.
Ridiculous. Elsa is one of the most well-rounded female characters in the Disney canon. Hell, she's one of the most well-rounded villains in the Disney canon, as most are just evil for the sake of being evil, while Elsa is an antagonist, not a true villain. She's scared and lonely, which results in poor decisions that create the tension of the film. Anna is not stupid, she's just also sheltered and lonely, which manifests itself in a sincere belief in fairy tales (which so does the audience).
I don't think this should be the standard, but are you kidding me? Elsa, despite being headstrong, eventually learns that love is more powerful than fear. Anna, of course, saves herself. Unlike every other damsel in distress in the history of fairy tales, Anna is her own hero. Do you not understand how radical of a storytelling move? Of course I want my daughter to have Anna as a role model instead of waiting for some boy to save her. Or Elsa, who was an f'n Queen and actually learns from her mistakes.
No. A thousand times no. She realizes that love is more powerful than love. Anna inspires her, actually after she LIVES, because Anna was guided by her love not her fear. She learns from her sister.
She did want to be with her. Elsa always loved Anna and wanted to be with her. But she was more afraid than able to love, which closed her off from the world. Which, let's face it, is a lesson most parents need. Stop being afraid of the world and go experience it. Anna's Love is more pwoerful than Elsa's Fear. And it is only when Elsa remembers that love is more powerful that she no longer has to be alone. She didn't have to protect Anna by cutting herself off like that.
It's called empathy and compassion. It's what separates us from the villains: not murdering our enemies.

Let me address your anti-anti-frozen rant.
It's one of if not the most overrated Disney movies ever.

Finding Nemo is a weird film for me. I've seen it a few times and thought it's been both brilliant and drab. It's tough to rate. I might have seen it too many times and it just doesn't hold up.
I just like the classic appeal of Tangled.

Kind of agree here actually, but as a Disney film I find Incredibles to be near perfect family entertainment.
Wall-E, Up and Ratatouille are in a different stratosphere than most Pixar movies as they have deeper film roots and more thoughtfully presented themes.

I actually think Ralph takes a similar theme and presents it more uniquely. The whole bad guy/good guy thing is fantastic, and as a poignant film I think Ralph is underrated because, yes, some will like it because of "Video games! Cool!"
And do you really think the blowback has to do with success? I'd argue it's more gendered-based than anything. Where something like Tangled was more universal, Frozen, you're right, is pretty much a princess story, and those haven't seen as much success recently with such a limited scope.
And heck, I think Sleeping Beauty is the best thing Disney ever made. Period. I'd never mention those two in the same sentence, though.
