I'll give movie marvel studios here the benefit of the doubt as they've done a really good job of making their movies as apolitical and non-controversial as they can be.

The first few issues were good, then it became full on SJW just like the rest of Marvel. Kamala would have trouble juggling two boyfriends, so she'd go talk to the hip Imam down at her local Mosque. She would also discuss her gay friends with him, and his answers were never what an actual Imam would say. Of course, her enemies were 99% of the time white bigoted bullies, and she and her trans friends would defeat them with full on Grrl power.
