We saw the 7:00 showing at Malco Gonzales. Had a local kid who was one of the TrebleMakers in the audience with us. Thought that was pretty cool.
The movie itself was ok but not as good as the first. Which was expected.
That german chick was hot !

We went to see it Saturday afternoon. I thought it was ok, but at times it seemed forced, or more like they wrote funny parts and then had to figure a way to string them together. It didn't seem to flow quite like the first one did. I also thought the music choices could have been better.

I went yesterday with the wife..... not as good as the first one but still fairly solid. We really loved the first one and so I think our expectations were too high for the second one. Thought it was slightly funnier but the music wasn't as good... a little too over the top with trying to sneak instruments into acappella music.
Becca is a "cutie" but Chloe kinda does it for me..... just sayin.

First one was great. Maybe I was expecting too much from the second one. Song choice was a little poor, but if nothing else, watch it for the Green Bay Packers.

I believe I missed that. What happened?
Anyway, this movie was solid. Not as good as the first but enjoyable. I really like the actual acapella stuff and was a little let down by that part of the movie for some reason. Also, the Asian and Hispanic girls awful little one liners almost ruined the movie for me but I just shook my head and got past it. The plot was seriously underdeveloped. There had to have originally been more bumper/Amy scenes or scenes with the new girl and her mom because all of a sudden their parents are at the final performance and I think we were supposed to care about that. Oh well.
Lastly and most importantly, for the second movie in a row, the barden Bellas got their asses kicked at the big competition and still won.

like the 1st movie it had its hits and misses, overall worth seeing at least once.

I am a bit biased because I was part of the creative team that designed the first one, but took the wife yesterday and we both almost walked out. Very few of the jokes hit, it looked terrible and the German team did nothing for me. Really disappointing

unless you're a girl who reads gossip, i doubt you'd know she's famous. Had she not had Ryan Phillippe's kid, she'd just be that hot naked girl from Project X.

Loved the first one. Saw PP2 yesterday and was seriously underwhelmed. We were the only people in the theater so I started playing on my phone we were so bored.
I didn't care for the song selection, there was really no plot to speak of. It was just trying way too hard to be just like the first one. The whole here's a weird invitation to some weird guy's house who holds a cappella competitions in his dungeon was trying way too hard to be just like the nighttime closed pool scene in the 1st movie. It didn't work at all.
The whole Becca is an intern at the music studio fell flat too.
I will never watch this movie again and I'm sad I paid $9 to watch it in the theater.
