I don't think living in caves and mining are stereotypes for real world dwarves (as opposed to dwarves in fantasy literature). Maybe I'm wrong, but...
Though I get what he's saying, that if Disney is going to cast a Latina actress as Snow White, then having the dwarves (a term used to refer to a group of real-world people) still act the same is a bit hypocritical.

mother fricker literally was in a movie that made fun of him being a dwarf by calling him an angry elf. He also played a dwarf in the Chronicles of Narnia. Almost all his roles have been some sort of self-deprecating humor

Honestly, like most things on Tigerdroppings, it seems like the vast majority of users have completely missed his point. He's saying that they went woke by hiring a latina to play Snow White, yet they still have degrading dwarf characters. He makes a very solid point, and you'd think the anti-woke crowd would understand it.

Except for the point should be that they should have hired someone who looks like Snow White to play Snow White, not that they shouldn't have the dwarfs.

Meh, she resembles Snow White fine.
And looks even more like Snow White illustrations from over 100 years ago
Her Mother is of Columbian descent, her Father of Polish descent, so she's half "Latin" and half Polish which borders Germany where the fairy-tale is set.
I'd have probably brought up making Ariel black in the new Little Mermaid or LeFou gay in Beauty and the Beast.

How are they degrading dwarf characters? He gave no specifics, because his issue is simply using this story at all...because there are dwarves in it.
Problem is, he's conflating Mythical Characters with humans with Dwarfism. It's idiotic. It's like people with gigantism being bent out of shape because of the portrayal of giants in movies...despite the fact that they are not the same thing.
Besides, anyone want to take a bet that half the dwarves will be non-white? That's all they did with Snow White, so it's what they'll do there as well.
