I could definitely get behind that.
Maybe he could get Jennifer to do a cameo

Shes an Executive Producer and visited set for season 1 filming and said she was working closely with writers.
You can bullshite all you want but she is involved.

The worst part about Harry Potter is the fans, would love to check out Universal Orlando but being surrounded by them makes that an immediate no for me.
Says more about you than them. But to ease your fears, the Harry Potter area in Universal isn't some Uber Nerd Mecca. Its mostly just normal people visiting the parks, just like every other part of the parks.

Where are you seeing this?

The race swap for Snape is still one of the most mind boggling things.
This singular reason not everyone is excited for the show. Leads me to the conclusion they are morons.

If you actually read the books and know Snape's backstory (not to mention Hermione's), the plot implications become very obvious. This is why it is a hard pass for me.

She’s not involved anymore and you even have lithgow taking shots at her

Went to the midnight showing of Deathly Hallows: Part 2, was some of the cringiest shite I've ever seen in my life.

Although she's not present day to day, it's said she's been deeply involved behind the scenes as an executive producer, contributing to writing discussions, casting conversations, and overall creative direction.

Agreed
Similar to casting a black person for a Wheel of Time character who is chased by white cloaks.

That would be fine choice

Did you even read that link? it still says she is involved.

but she’s not totally removed from its creative process.

When the project was initially announced back in 2023, Bloomberg reported that she would work with the team to ensure accuracy to the original storyline. It seems safe to assume that she largely plays an advisory role – although, if Lithgow is to be believed, it’s not particularly hands-on.

I think I saw that the show runner said basically he had never talked to her, she didn’t have anything to do with casting the show, though she probably would have some thoughts about it, and that she hasn’t seen a script.
I think he said he’d never read the books either? Am I remembering this wrong or did a Nerdrotic video incept me?

The showrunner is a female that said she "devoured" the books when she was 14...

She started out involved, she’s an EP which is nothing in a lot of cases. She’s not involved with the show anymore and hasn’t been since around the time of the Emma Watson back and forth. There’s a reason that happened along with the Lithgow comments, it’s because she was gone and it didn’t matter if they attacked her anymore.

Why do this dumb shite if you know it’s going to piss people off, unless you are just virtue signaling?
