Parents accuse Ezra Miller of grooming daughter UPDATE: Miller has disappeared with kid

Chase and Sara said in the documents that Miller, through the Quiet organization with which the actor was affiliated, offered to pay for Tokata to attend college early at 16 at Bard College at Simon's Rock in Massachusetts. Miller "would later use this against Tokata to create a sense of indebtedness," the parents say in the documents.
Tokata dropped out of school in December. Their parents say they then traveled to Miller's home in Vermont in January, finding that Tokata didn't have their driver's license, bank cards or keys, preventing Tokata from leaving on their own accord.
Once home, Tokata spent three weeks "detoxifying" then fled to New York City, the parents claim, to reunite with Miller, who then traveled with Tokata to Los Angeles and Hawaii, where Miller has gotten into legal trouble and arrests in recent months.

"I dropped out of bard five months ago, my friend and comrade William passed shortly there after, my mind was incredibly impacted and I've needed space and time for the processing of grief. My comrade Ezra Miller for the entirety of the aforementioned era has only provided loving support and invaluable protection throughout this period of loss," wrote Tokata.
Tokata added, "My father and his allegations hold no weight and are frankly transphobic and based in the notion that I am somehow incapable of coherent thought or opposing opinions to those of my own kindred worrying about my well being. I am now aware of the severity of emotional and psychological manipulation I was made to endure while in my parents home."

ETA: I always have to look these people up because I have no idea who any of them are. I remember Ezra getting arrested, and saw many weird pictures of him on the internet.
What kind of hand signal is ole Ezra giving here?
Is it a super hero sign, some LGBTQIA symbol, or is that the I'm cooler than you will ever be sign?

After seeing your post, I looked for an article about her meeting Greta Thunberg and found one from 2019.

According to that article, this chick was 16 in October 2019, which would make her 18 or 19 now, so I'm not sure what to say here. she's 19 and can do what she wants. Should have raised her better and warned her against the loony leftists and not encouraged her to put in with people who actively abuse children the way Greta Thunberg's parents do.
These parents are to blame for everything they claim Ezra Miller is to blame for.
That's not to say Ezra Miller isn't a creep, but in this case it looks like he is not the problem and if this LEGAL ADULT isn't going to claim abuse against Ezra Miller then I don't know how this accusation would possibly stick.

Well, yeah. You think she got it in her head to go to bat for climate change...and MEET GRETA THUNBERG...all on her own? Her parents did that, and based on their own court filing, that is when Ezra Miller apparently met their daughter. I bet they were absolutely over the moon that a celebrity was paying for her college, and never once stopped to think about the people she was associating with.

I mean...he seems like a pretty scummy dude, and the rest of the accusations against him seem pretty credible, but this instance is clearly the parents trying to blame someone else for their failures. Passing off blame to everyone else is a real problem in our country. People need to be confronted with their own failures, or this cycle will just continue. Accusations like this one will only serve to minimize and delegitimize the actually credible accusations against him.
