Im a very surface level Marvel fan but I watched all of the Avengers movies to at least partially understand this show before I started watching.
I will say that I thoroughly enjoyed this show. It was unique, which is something I appreciate. I’m sure I would have liked it even more if I knew more of the references but really glad I watched.

Other than Vision, the only other Avenger that she had any real character driven scenes with was Hawkeye.
I mean, she was on the run with Steve Nat and Sam for 2 years. That was also The Avengers team in civil war. Nat came to her aid on the battlefield in Infinity War “she’s not alone” scene.

think it sets up Secret Invasion more than CM2.
The theatre scene at end was a hint to that

The slow burn weekly release was great, a throw back...but it also worked against itself. Peoples imaginations ran wild of where this was headed and hoping for big reveals. Then are disappointed when none of them panned out

False. You just gotta know what you’re looking at
The theater Marquee references a famous quote from blade runner. It also refers to a gate. You see that Rambeau meets a skrull who seems to have been here awhile (secret invasion perhaps?). The theater could be some sort of portal that has been bringing aliens to earth
The other scene shows Wanda seemingly under a trance while the Scarlet witch reads the book. That book of Darkhold will be pivotal in future series. I will be curious to see if she can actually revive her children through that book. There is a lot of nuance and potential

My 17yo has a damned Masters Degree level of knowledge when it comes to the Marvel Universe. It was great watching along his side bc he would instantly explain why the scene was important.
I can’t get the motherfricker to do his homework but yet he will read hours upon hours of comic books and watch hours upon hours of videos dissecting those comic books. And he will retain everything
Marvel has to watch out though. Not everyone has read all of the comic books and the general public could potentially get lost in the weeds.

Darcy? vanished like a fart in the wind. Thanks for having a key role in the series, and at the very end, you wrecked an ice cream truck, never to be seen again.
I was wondering how the hell she didn’t smash through the windshield after she rammed that old arse truck into a damn Humvee at 45 mph.

The actors did the fans a huge disservice by amping up expectations with wild promises.
Interviewers shouldn’t ask questions about the content they can’t answer with flat out yes or no.
Half the time it feels like the actors don’t even know what they are asking about, and they just try to give a positive answer.

This was a great show. I hated the series in episode 1 but forced my way to episode 3 and it got good there

Did you not hear her kids calling for her from another alternate universe? I'd say that's a somethingburger.

The thing that gets me is at the end of endgame wanda has a scene with hawkeye where she seems to be at peace with losing vision. I guess at some point after the movie she loses her shite and decides to recreate him and enslave an entire town. And who were the people agent woo was calling after they detained him? Who’s this cliff person that never showed up?
Also very disappointed we didnt get a dr strange cameo. And captain rambeau has a tank arse

They show this in episode 8.

We just started watching wandavision last night - I hated the first episode too
But it did get better!! We are going to finish the rest of the season this weekend. My teenagers are filling in stuff for me - the last few weeks they’ve been rewatching the movies

Please stop with the, “If you don’t like it you must not be able to understand it” nonsense. This series’ greatest strength seems to be the vague hints that allow the viewers to extrapolate it into a much better program.
We saw a boring Skrull point to the skies and insinuate that Fury and/or Captain Marvel have a plan for Photon. Maybe she’s an important part of Secret Invasion. Maybe it’s not Fury, but the Shi’ar Imperial Guard offering a membership. Maybe that’s actually the Super-Skrull, and she is leading Photon into a trap on The Red Ghost’s ape city moon base, and Reed Richards will have to rescue her.
It could be something amazing, maybe, someday, hopefully, but tonight it was a business casual Skrull from HR, posting a job opening.

I was really hoping Reed Richards was gonna show up in the finale, answering the challenge Photon texted to the "aerospace engineer".
That mini-plot point went unanswered.

I felt they let Wanda off the hook way too easily. She really screwed those people up. I wanted them to scream or jeer at her as she walked toward Rambeau.
Disappointed that Agatha’s whole motivation was to obtain Wanda’s power instead of protecting her from it. Missed opportunity there. Nuance is always more interesting than black and white.

It only looked like an old truck. It was an armored SWORD truck.

Biggest takeaway from this is Paul Bettany needs to be in more stuff

As mentioned, the ending was lackluster for certain
I liked the finale but I kinda agree. The show went from something different to cookie cutter marvel real quick
