this is gonna lead into Captain Marvel 2.

I think it sets up Secret Invasion more than CM2.

They really missed an opportunity with Agness. Her only motivation was "I sense some power, I want that power" OK? How unoriginal, couldnt there be just a little something more there?

yes. I was really hoping they were going to take her in the direction of thinking she was somehow taking dark magic out of the hands of someone in over their heads and was doing something beneficial for the people of Westview and society as a whole. I was really disappointed considering I'd argue Kathryn hahn was the MVP of the series

The “We’ve said goodbye before”/“We’ll say hello again” line might’ve made me produce a bit of water from my tear ducts

The amount of dick sucking this show gets on this board is mind blowing. It was very mehhhh. The quicksilver set up was so lame. All for a boner joke at the end? The fact that this was the most expensive to show of all time to set up Scarlett witch being a villain for one movie is weak. We all know she will be good in the end. Marvel doesn’t take huge risks like that. Got to play it safe

Wanda's metamorphosis was fantastic. The way she took out Agatha with the runes was a brilliant move

That was great.

Some people just want to fuss. This show is essentially the launch of phase IV and I'm sorry every answer wasn't provided for the next decade in this one show. It was fun, clever and entertaining. Was it perfect? No, but it was damn good.

I think Marvel's use of fan service is a good thing. Sounds like a JJ Abraham or Rian Johnson flick might be a better fit for your taste.

She didn't stop a single bullet, she phased the two through her, decreasing their kinetic energy as they passed through and they fell to the ground.

Wiccan stopped the third.

Better than suddenly being a master of the powers she JUST got that day. She put herself between the kids and the bullets, heroic enough for someone who doesn’t know what she can do.

Damn. Olsen is fire in that true to form Scarlet Witch costume. Absolute fire. Props to the costume designer for that and the hair. Ah shite. She morphs into the suit at the end, it’s here’s to stay then. Hell to the frick yea.

Well. No theories reply ended up being close to right besides the one who predicted a merger of the two Visions. No big bad. No Pietro. Just an enchanted Ralph Boner.

Not sure if I’m disappointed or happy we didn’t have a stuffed convoluted end with no Mephisto or anything. But we should at least get more Olsen so maybe down the line.

And we got trolled by Bettany and Liz with the Skywalker cameo. Touché. Touché. The anti Tom Holland’s they are. Just a unspoken name drop of Fury in Space.

Oh. True MCU after credits scene uh? Aw shite.

Is that Banners old cabin? Really reminded me of the location at the end of Incredible Hulk.

So Wanda’s learning the Dadkhold to will her kids into existence after all?

The actors did the fans a huge disservice by amping up expectations with wild promises. The high points were mid-season, the ending was by the book. Usually, this would make for a fulfilling watch, but it’s hard to walk away without a bad aftertaste. The biggest surprise is that there’s a White Vision out there now, finding himself. Other than that... nothing new. The post-credits are nothingburgers. Hopefully they’ll learn from their mistakes and not over-hype the next series with specific promises. Just let the show progress and give us actual surprises.

Agree with most of your points but the post credits stuff will end up being extremely important

Yes. I just like to be wowed by endcredits scenes. Maybe Fury walking out of a space ship with Skrulls instead of Photon getting a message in an empty theater.

Agreed. Would really have liked a cameo from someone else in the MCU. Oh well

So it seems the die hards are a lot more disappointed than the casuals. I thought it was a fantastic series. Sure I hoped that they’d explain more about rambeau. But I didn’t think to much about albino vision or what happened to Darcy. I wish there was another season coming.

One thing I thought that was lacking was any mention of Wanda’s relationship with Steve and Nat. She was obviously closest with those two and Vision along with Sam.

I mean was she?

Other than Vision, the only other Avenger that she had any real character driven scenes with was Hawkeye.
