ETA: Let's wait before making snap judgments. I think a lot of this smaller stories like T-Dog and Daryl will lead to some big developments...

I'm still enjoying the show.
I did notice several instances where the dialogue (writing and acting I think) is getting pretty bad though.
The actress who plays Lori was waaaayy overacting this episode. And it kind of seems like the writers are attempting to establish some "strong woman" behavior with her and a the other ladies but it's just falling flat. Either the writers are all guys and don't know how to write for female characters or else maybe they are just not that good writers. I'm hoping a couple of the new characters at the farm/house will step up and bring a little more to the table.
The kids don't bother me nor does T-dog (I agree the name sucks). And Shane actually comes across as an interesting character to me. Darryl too but I'd like to see a little more character development from him. The Dale character can be a little aggravating. Rick's wanting to leave was extremely stupid so I guess that is the writing.
The show is still holding my interest so I'll stick with it.
