Thatguy I have a feeling the narration is either setting us up as a unreliable narrator or its so obvious that they are speaking to us particularly Rustin. Do you get that feeling as well?

Its actually a valid point to make. A lot more valid than accepting anything writers throw at you because you can't think past being entertained. But hey, digest the shite if it tastes like what you've grown accustomed too from television.

I bet you're the type of person that flat out quit watching Breaking Bad after the Season 4 finale because

Don't bother watching. They screwed up and showed an old LSU pitcher's family being poorer than they should have been. Ruined the whole damn show.

I like Rust's character. kinda reminds me of myself

the two are so archetypal, though. hope they flesh out more as the show goes on

I have a feeling that, as strong a show as this seems to be, that will be the main objective.

The serial killer/investigation is a mere catalyst to show us a CHARACTER STUDY of Rust and Marty and their relationship.

The show is about the Rust/Marty their individual pasts and collective futures. We will learn how both men are broken and how both cope.

This show has massive potential.

Did anybody notice the pack of cigarettes Rust was smoking? I don't think the Camel pack looked like that back then.

I can't believe someone was bringing up baseball scholarships and tuition costs for a background character.

Must mean it is a fantastic show to have to stoop to picking that out as a criticism.
