Makes you wonder if the food is drugged. (Sorry, I can't remember if someone commented on that already.)
My immediate thought when they started showing other people not eating and then Rick started noticing his group's belongings.

i really, really hope they resolve the Terminus story line quickly. I was elated that they resolved the Joe and his bandits story swiftly. And, they made a huge jump in plot by having Rick go back to being a crazy man. Also used that to have Michonne and Carl remind everyone that they aren't normal either.
This terminus story needs to be resolved with the swiftness so that it doesn't turn into another Woodsbury/Governor storyline. Especially since they seem so similar at this point.

While they are eating, the termites ambush and hold them at gunpoint to disarm them.
But in Rick's case, they had already disarmed them. Why give them the guns back if the plan all along was to lock them up.

To show them that even with their guns they have no control? That deleted scene still changes everything if it's legit and cannibalism is a red herring.

Unless the deleted scene is the red herring. hmmmm

A couple of reasons:
1. Rick's crew got the drop on them. When Rick & Co first encounter them none of the Terminus folks were armed. The checking of weapons then giving them back was to engender trust.
2. To minimize collateral damage on their side.
This makes me believe even more that the food was drugged and probably how they got Glen, Maggie, etc.

As per the time jump between seasons discussion the longest jump was the "winter" between s2 and s3. Ricktatorship group was on the run and Lori wasn't showing, she is shown in premier looking 6-7 months along. They were prepping for winter before the herd displaced them and obviously when the season starts there is no snow or cold weather.
The Beth story line is frustrating me. Why wouldn't Daryl say someone took her? Might help the group to know that there are bad people around and to be extra cautious. No way she gets killed off screen. Or even in a flashback. The writ trees have been pretty outspoken about big characters getting a "good" death.
I can't believe that Rick took the time to "scout" terminus yet still rolled in and revealed themselves to the 1st people they saw. Why wouldn't they hold up the night near by and observe for a bit? Or investigate the grounds more? I guess that's my lizard brain working overtime. Something had to have felt off.
I loved this season. Other than the 1st season this was my favorite. It's going to be a looooooong 6months.

Totally agree. There is No need to drag this on be Rick and his group have seemingly stopped giving other groups the benefit of the doubt, so will need to get out and not try and reason with these freaks.

No way would she willing bolt and leave Daryl behind. He chased her and yet the car (that she willingly got into and didn't care that she dropped her only supplies?) never stopped? Nah. She got took. That's why the "she's gone" was too cryptic in my opinion.

I like it better that she got took, then. I was bruising my feels that she would leave.

Really, you think she took off without even looking back for Darryl. "Hey buddy, I appreciate the ride, but my friend's been running after us for while now. Maybe we could stop and let him ride too."
Seemed like an obvious abduction to me, but I was wrong once before.

The powdered milk has to mean something though, right? I don't think they would just show that just for shits and gigs.
I took it to mean that there were people in there that were being "fed" (though powdered milk is hardly sustenance).
Maybe it's more significant than that, but that's all I took it to mean.

Not on this one.
I bet the termites have some kind of machine shop version of a pump car on the rails that they take out to place the signs. All of them are on the railroad tracks and not all tracks have roads next to them. If gas is a premium , which it is. That or I guess they'd only have to place them out once. shite. I just busted my own theory. Lol

Agreed. You'll have to excuse my friend, AJF....he's a little slow.

anyone have a link to this deleted scene that is referenced?

Yeah, the powdered milk seemed to have meaning, but it could be as simple as what was previously in that train car.
Some people soak wild game in milk to tenderize and remove some of the gamey flavor. Maybe it's also the tenderizer of choice for long pork.

As long as he doesn't go full LA.

If I remember the episode, they were attacked by a lot of walkers right? And at the end, when Daryl is outside, he sees the car...I didn't get the impression there were other people there, but they made plenty of references to the supplies being new.
I remember thinking "That bitch!" then I got distracted and didn't think much of it after.
