yeah i had to chuckle
and here is the deal with the comic people. the comics have big scenes that the show uses. the path to those "big scenes" is not the same, but they KNOW the main conflicts/issues/scenes. they use their knowledge of the comics to guess things
so they're claiming plausible deniability when it's painfully clear they are spoiling the shite out of the developments for non-readers. if you want a spoiler-free discussion, they cannot provide it with their comic-based speculations

I dont remember seeing the mullet, but the chick was there, both the hot latino chick and the lesbian from the gov's group.

There has to be something with Carl's hat. Another reason Rick was so adamant about needing Carl to come with him to the train car.
I think it was just Rick not wanting to not know where his son is going. I know I would want my son with myself and/or at the least Darryl in that situation.

Latina Daisy Duke was there.
Who was on the vet pharmacy run that saw the horde? Bob, Daryl, Tyrese and Sasha right? So if the ZH comes into play, no one needs to escape, Tyrese just needs to know he and Carol have to take down the facility themselves.

My gut tells me she's the meat they were serving but it could be the person who "kidnapped" her was actually trying to save her from Terminus.

No one has spoiled anything in this thread so far to my knowledge. The show itself confirmed they are cannibals.
Your equivalent would be if going back to last year that I would spoil it by saying the Governor is a Sociopath once we had seen on screen that he slaughters the National Guard unit. An entirely show only sequence.

that's my guess now
terminus obviously isn't having much difficulty getting food at the moment. seems dangerous to go do scouting missions

We discussed this earlier in the other thread didn't we?

That's been my point since the beginning of TWd (and GoT). Readers and nonreaders can't discuss things on the same planes, because the knowledge bases aren't the same. It's as simple as that. No matter how much a reader tries to deflect with "I'm only using what's in the show," the bottom line is that they know things from the comics and that inherently sucks and can ruin things for nonreaders. It's the whole "guiding the nonreaders" thing that was mentioned last year (in GoT threads).
It sucks. And what sucks even more is that it is very easy to see and understand, yet we will always have readers in nonreader threads doing the same fricking shite over and over.

I'm betting they try to feed them only meat.
ETA: Nevermind, the powdered milk kinda ruins that for me.
I think they try to feed them meat to be like "Hey you hadm people, and that stuff was good wasn't it" Kind of hoping that once people realize what they ate, they will continue to do so.
The milk diet IMO is to puyrge some of the toxins that would be in animals that eat meat (mercury maostly) so as to not overdose from eating too much, the same as you could nowadays from eating too much tuna (or other predatory fish/animals).

At this point most of the characters aren't even the same. Its hard for me to view them as even the same plot. Some things are similar but nothing is 100% alike.

Which makes no sense because there are reader threads that seem to be fairly active.

I admit this is more than I know about eating meat but I bet you are correct about the milk. Maybe they try to recruit people by finding ones who are willing to eat humans?

I think that was most of it, sure. But I think there has to be something more to it for Rick to be SO confident while locked in the train car. Also, there wasn't much of a reason to show the farming flashback unless it connects to something now (similar to the setting of the trap equating them being trapped/chased/hunted in Terminus).

at least the GoT literates are much more respectful and honest about it than tWD literates
other than the Red Wedding, they've behaved themselves for the most part after season 1
but i KNOW what is going on with tWD b/c i have started to read their thread and google shite about it just to prepare for this argument. i'm not going to get into details but yeah, the literates are spoiling shite

I think we did but I'm not sold on what's happening with Beth.

but you still have the "high points" and storylines that the comics used. that final scene in the comics is a dead giveaway
the fact that you know all of that, and are making those guesses/connections, is an issue in terms of spoilers

especially since in the episode they prominently mentions Carls hat over and over. It was the focal piece of the flashbacks. Rick put it on Beth, Rick talked about Carl needing a farmer hat in the other.

That reminds me of something Michonne said last night. She talked about hoping there would be some houses where they were, "or at least a store."
There is no way in hell that any and all stores wouldn't be 100% picked clean at this point. Houses I could almost understand just because there would be so many houses to go through. But no question the stores would be completely empty. Any time they hit up a store, it sort of bothers me that they are able to resupply there.
