There are plenty of zombies leaning in for the feast. Could Glen not knife a few of them to use for cover while the zombies are distracted with eating the other guy? Might be hard to do that while extracting himself from under the feeding frenzy.

Last week on Talking Dead they asked the Enid actress if she would be back and she said "I can't say, but if Enid is back I think you'll be presently surprised."... AKA, she's going to save Glenn.

I saw watched it a second time and I saw no sign of Nicholas on top of him. I looked like they were pulling out his intestines. And his facial reaction suggests he was being eaten. I really dont see how/if he got out of that.

Just look at this. All you have to see is how high above his head the body being torn into is. That's Nicholas on top of him. How would he actually get out of it? Hell if I know.

Just watched. Yet to read the thread.
My thoughts:
Enjoyable episode but the writing/directing was subpar considering how good the firest 2 episodes of the season were. The pacing seemed off.
How many times did characters stop to reflect while in the midst of pressing and imminent danger? Seemed very odd and unbelievable considering the characters previous actions.
Heavy on the cliches: Twisted ankle. Scared guy acts like idiot and gets someone killed. Engine stalls.
And then there is the Glen situation. If he really did die,frick the writers for having him go out in such a cheap manor. If he is still alive and those were Joe Suicide's entrails being excavated, frick the writers for playing with us.
All for now. Time to see what you guys thought...

After watching it a few times, it really looks like Nicholas is on top of him, and they are ripping him apart...
The angle that the walkers are tearing into is raised well above Glens body....And you can vaguely see the shirt that is connected to the "guts" and it doesn't match up with Glen.
The overhead shot really looks like Glen is inching his way backward toward the dumpster

Agreed. Michonne easily had enough arm strength to chin up herself over the fence with a couple of weak-arse zombies holding on to her feet...yet it took about 7 shots from dreds to set her free.

Nicholas didn't shoot himself either. They said they ran out of bullets and started using knives to kill zombies before they jumped on the dumpster. How did he manage to get another bullet to shoot himself?

I have no idea, just thought it was interesting that they both said "I'm out" and then Nicholas decides to shoot himself when he was out of bullets.
