What makes this brilliant is while it was completely explainable, the explanation was so subtle in the episode that it still is really fricking random

Great episode. Some of the Penn State jokes were quality. The on a scale of 1 to 10, Joe Pa doesn't walk into a police station, and your choice of Neverland Ranch, Catholic Church, or Penn State were my favorites.

What a way to end the season
You can tell that Matt and Trey are focusing all their energy on SP and not another project like Mormon The Musical

God, I think that may be my favorite Kenny Death ever. It beat the one from the list where a bullet comes from across town and just strikes Kenny in the head.

Am I the only one who thinks the Penn St. stuff was more a take on people making inapropriate Penn St jokes? I mean the guy who was making the jokes was a child crisis counselor.

Wow. You all really thought this episode was "epic"?
I thought it was totally lame. The worst I've seen in a while. I totally did not get the agnostic foster home. It wasn't even funny. I dug Mysterion showing up, the reality TV show was kind of funny, I even got the way it ended.
I thought the subject of Garrison being upset because his dad wouldn't molest him was funny. The catholic church episode was funny. This just wasn't funny. At least to me. I didn't find that Penn St. stuff amusing at all. It was too in your face and uncreative. Although I did chuckle a little when he said JoePa doesn't walk into a police station.
This is the worst season finale since the hockey kids. Totally lame and unfunny.

The penn st stuff was supposed to be "in your face and uncreative" so they managed to accomplish that.
cmon, cartman being forced to say "im white trash and im in trouble"
or,
cartman: "i wasn't making fun of him"
principal: "so a 20 minute song and dance with 72 yo momma is so poor jokes..... ending with fireworks isn't making fun of someone?"
cartman: "I was just teasing."
and cartman making fun of his own mom, i could go on and on.

No, they were making fun of people cracking Penn State jokes, which is hilarious.
Hence the headshot, they think they are amazing comedians making plenty of references, and most of those just being recycled jokes. Kind of like people on this board! Hey!
I really liked this episode. So many LOL moments for me. This is the best one of the season IMO.
