The best part about the entire movie was they didn't delve into the science of how it works any deeper than they needed too. I think this was one of the keys to the films greatness.

This was really one of the bigger keys to why this movie is being dissected like it is.

Has anyone heard whether Nolan has come out and said that there is only 1 correct interpretation of the movie?
I wouldn't pay that any attention. Once a piece of art is released to the public, it is no longer within the control of the artist. The audience is free to interpret the work however they wish, and even take it in directions the artist himself didn't think of. I would hate for there to be a definitive statement of meaning from Nolan, but if he made one, I would try to avoid reading it, and if I read it, I would give it very little weight.

I wish George Lucas felt this way about the original star wars movies. We don't need new digital scenes!!

Holy shite this movie blew me away. Every time I think I'm getting close to a certain truth of it all, another factor comes into play that questions my logic. I think the ending is real one minute and the next I'm sure it's a dream. I love the idea that I will never know for sure though. It lets me form my own interpretations and makes me think deeply. That's why this movie is so incredible IMO. We are being fed bullshite for the most part that requires no thought process. I'm gonna see this one again and again over the years. to you Mr. Nolan

I wondered that in the theater as well. I'm sure it was a mix of green screens and wire harnesses.

The hallway scenes had very few camera angles. I'm guessing a small hallway tube that was mechanically spun, mixed with wires to keep a constant tension on the actors. Just a guess.

Really, the most convincing evidence against the idea that Mal is awake and entering Cobb's dream to talk him out is the fact that she never shows up in his perceived reality. If it is all a dream, one would think that she would show up when he thinks he's awake.

They built a ridiculous moving set for the hallway scenes. Gordon-Levitt did every single one of his own stunts.

It's amazing how good of an actor this guy is becoming. Who knew the little punk that gets killed with an ice skate in Halloween H20 would make something out of himself.

While I thought he was great in Inception, he really shows off his acting ability in Brick and The Lookout. If anyone hasn't seen these two movies I'd highly recommend them.

I always remembered him as the kid from angels in the outfield.

I always think of him as the kid in 3rd Rock from the Sun. Man, he has been in a lot of stuff.

Mysterious Skin is even better than those two.

Brick is a fantastic first film from Ryan Johnson. The Brothers Bloom is his seond film, and is equally good. If you haven't seen either I suggest checking them out.

yes they did a special look on one of the movie channels hbo i think and you see a big tube that spins around idk about the wires though but when the gravity was shifting they just had the big tube rotating

another thing that blew me away with some of this stuff is the lack of special effects they use, many scenes that you thought would be special effects weren't like the dream calapsing apparently they shot that stuff now im sure there was some effects mixed in but that was real not fake with special effects

they filmed the zero G scenes the same way that Kubrick filmed his zero G scenes in 2001. Giant rotating cylinder, with a fixed camera.
