Bucky needs long hair, a bad attitude and less comedic relief dialog.

Dudes a killer.

..you guys know who US Agent is? Right? Or is that not too known amongst the MB?

He’s lying, IMO. The interviewer said he tested off the charts with regards to speed and endurance. I’m guessing he held back in the testing so it wasn’t obvious he has been given the serum. He did just good enough to be the best non-powered person.

The way Abraham Erskine describes the serum will come into play.

New Cap got handled even more easily than Bucky though on the trailer fight.

His punch got caught by the redhead as if he were noticeably weaker.

Yea the new Cap hasn’t had the super soldier dose yet.

It was noticeable during the fight scene.

I think he’s just a freakish athletic soldier right now and will get his hands on a serum the flagsmashers are using to become closer to Steve in his attempt to be Captain America.

It didn't ruin the episode for me, but I really hope every episode doesn't feel the need to have the token 'Sam is a victim of racism' moment.

2 for 2

Lowering the Falcon character to a cliche stereotype like that is a turn off. But I guess that’s the world we live in.

I wonder if they will go more in-depth into the para-rescue partner Sam had to watch die (before he met Steve Rogers).

To me it's pretty clear that he thinks there should only ever be one Captain America and that no one could ever live up to what Steve Rogers did and the type of person and leader he was. I can't blame him for that logic at all.

That’s Disney’s intention. Sam’s reaction is our reaction. By the time the hated Captain America moves on, we’ll all be on team Sam. Then we’ll accept him as Cap.

I saw online where someone said it best. No one can replace Steve but anybody who takes on the Cap mantle should try to be the best Cap by being themselves .

Sam would be a diff Cap..he comes with more humor..but he is showing leadership abilities in this series.

I thought the episode was ok, but not great. To me the whole Bucky meets up with Sam and decides to join him on the mission was way too convenient and rushed. And their Starsky/Hutch, Ponch/Jon banter needs some work.

Also, Sam's relationship with the government and military seems to be all over the place. I understand the "disposable and deniable asset" stuff in episode 1, but here he seemed to be acting on his own initiative (but was still able to procure a plane to fly him to Germany). Bucky being able to tag along just adds more uncertainty to Sam's actual status.

On the plus site, I loved Isiah Bradley and they've done a good job on John Walker's characterizations. Seems like they've done a good job of casting it - the actor really sells a sort of combination of charm and confidence with an underlying weakness that is likely to come out when things get intense.

The police thing didn't really bother me, but it was a given that some on this board and elsewhere would not like it.

The Flagsmashers have some potential and it will be interesting to see the interplay between them, the Power Broker, Zemo, the governmental groups and the "heroes".

Sam didn't have ID I wonder if new Cap will be secretly one of the flagsmashers. I'm over the therapy stuff, they need to dial it back a little.

I've always thoughta cool flashback scene would have Sam being code named "Blue Wing" and his partner being code named " Red Wing". Would be a nice tie-in

The “Black Falcon” moment was pretty damn good one.
what stood out to me was this with Disney giving you a nugget of this isn't about black or white, then they make white cops racist.

Look, I get it, racism is alive and well in this country, but television to me has overdone it with painting the "racism picture" in America and I'm not Black or White, but biracial. But I think it's crazy now how they've X'ed out the White man in all of the commercials now where you see mostly Black men now with a White wife, White wife and children or just a White girlfriend. Lol Just not realistic and they need to stop trying to force it down people's throats.

I found it noticeable that Bucky caught the shield with his normal arm. He did the same move with his other arm in Civil War.
