I have a feeling that Austin has quite a bit in common with Jared

At least he didn't save Liz. That would have been the dumbest move in the history of the show.

She did tell Julia to pick austin so she wouldn't go up correct?....(meaning that she swore on people's lives etc saying she didn't).....it isn't good gameplay for someone to be that convincing.....it's called being a pathological liar.

Meh, people do that every season and they don't win. Not condoning it but she's done what it takes. Good gameplay doesn't have to follow a formula. It's doing what it takes to win in your given circumstances.

And the sad thing is austin spends the majority of his waking hours working out.

Well it did serve a purpose for her but she swore on all that that she wasn't playing Julia and for her it was 100% the right move. Not for the 3some but for Julia it was. When they were talking about why she should've picked Johnny Mac they said she should've picked him because he would've had to go twice in a row...but he only has to go twice in a row if he beats Julia the first time and in that case she's out anyway...she really should've picked Liz or Vanessa because they were weaker players but JMac definitely wasn't the play.

Best moment of the season so far when Julia picked Austin. So damn funny.

If Vanessa keeps Liz over her brain dead sister, she's an idiot.

She should have picked Vanessa. If they had half a brain they would hold her to all these "I play the game with integrity" comments and put her in a position to reveal herself. You wat Julia to stay? Throw the comp to her. I love how her argument is basically Austin wasn't going to let you win Big Brother so obviously he was trying to get you out this week. Nobody is going to let her win Big Brother! Everyone wants 500k dumbass. I did fully appreciate Vanessa explaining to Austin how she just solved his twin problem for him and bringing him off the ledge. If she keeps Liz over Julia she is screwed though. Austin and Liz in a comp vs JMac and Vanessa... I'm taking Auztin. Those dumbasses would probably still target Steve or Johnny Mac though.

Vanessa's entire gameplay:

-convince someone to do something to help her game
-rationalize it by saying she's an expert on the topic
-if/when pushed, sob uncontrollably and swear on family member's lives it was in the other person's best interest

-win BB17

-state in some way that you cant even believe that they would suggest that you did that. You are a good person. You are hurt. If they think you would do such a thing you dont trust them and maybe they should be next.

You have to admit though, it seems to be working pretty well for her.

I just don't understand why they trust Vanessa. She lies to everyone. The veto challenge debacle is proof.

because the rest of them are so dumb that vanessa can talk her way out of it and rationalize her decisions.

Exactly. She had Austin convinced what she did was actually to help him out by the time they finished their convo. She literally cemented the Austwin alliance's downfall and has zero blood on her hands as a result. I kind of think she is a piece of shite, but she is playing very well with what she has to work with this season. Interested to see what Austin and the twin that wins does this week.

Her diffusing the situation last night was pretty brilliant, I'll give her that. She had Liz dumping Austin over it.
