That's about as far as I think they could go without it being too obvious
It was blatantly obvious on Jeff and Jordan's season, and somewhat on Rachel and Brendan's season. At least their first season, not the All-Stars.

Yeah I think it's all just conspiracy. I know they've done some obvious meddling in the past!
I don't think they could get away with trying to "fix" a game. That would blow up in their faces big time.

One day when these shows are over, they will come out with the tell all behind the scenes of Survivor and Big Brother and we will get all the details

My cousin is actually good friends with someone that was on Survivor, and I've met her. She said there was very little production interaction. They only saw Jeff at Tribal Council and at challenges, and the cameramen never talked to them. I didn't have any reason not to believe her.
She did say the typical tribal council lasted almost an hour though. The one she got voted out on lasted 2 hours.

It was blatantly obvious that Frankie was being saved last season. From the comp that week being easier with one person playing to Caleb being told he couldn't play once he saw Frankie was going to win. This season I have noticed a few things here and there, but I believe it has largely been left to the cast to decide. Now Vanessa could easily have been given some inside info in the DR, but that can only go so far. I usually bitch about all the twists, but this season I have sometimes wished there were more. Probably only because none of my favorites are left and Johnny Mac has soured on me due to his incredibly terrible game play. The only person that has a shot H2H vs Vanessa is Austin, and it would take a very good run to do so. He's had the HoH wins, won the veto the only time he was on the block, and managed to stay in the game when Vanessa herself tried to take him out early. He's like some idiot savant that is knocking the game out of the park but can't tie his shoes or remember to use soap when he showers.

Liz tells Austin/Julia that Vanessa can't turn on them cause America will hate her. Austin says America might already for playing them #BB17
Why do these people even worry about what the outside world think. They are wrong anyways.

The funny thing is that this season, they (production) promised to mess with the game every week with the Big Brother Takeover. Once they saw the drama with Audrey and how everyone was going to let the twin twist slide by letting Julia in the house, they backed off the takeover stuff after only three weeks. They haven't even boasted the usual "expect the unexpected" this year. The house guests are pretty accurate with the timing of double evictions and guessing which competitions are coming up. Even the have-nots are assigned instead of doing a competition.
CBS has just phoned this season in and it is crap. I wish I could make the wife stop watching it so I could stop.

The twins want to be models/reality stars (they have no other discernible skills besides folding clothes) and Austin wants to join the WWE. Reason they don't care about winning is because is all about publicity to them not the actual game.

as a WWE fan, That ship sailed especially after the Bill DeMott incident.
Best he can hope for is wrestling in Japan, he can't hold a candle to Jessie Godderz who is in TNA

I've seen Austin's wrestling prowess, and the only thing I can say about it is I wish like hell I could unsee it.

Looks like Vanessa is fixing to make a huge mistake in my opinion. She is going to make sure that Liz is the twin that stays. Why in the hell would she think that is a good idea? Why leave Liz in the game when she not only has won more comps and played the better overall game than Julia, but Liz and Austin are far tighter than Julia and Austin. It makes no sense to me that she would want that.

I guess she doesn't want Julia dragged to final 2?
I agree it's still stupid though. Maybe she assumes Liz and Austin would target Steve and Johnny Mac.

think on her level. it's a better excuse for her to use or other's in the house to use to have to break up a couple in the upcoming nom ceremonies.
if aus liz is split now, they (aus Julia) will likely peel another player off van and hurt her chances

But now she is stuck on being the third wheel no matter which duo wins next week. If Liz were to leave, then I'm pretty confident that Vanessa could talk both Austin and Julia to take her as a final 2. But there is no way in hell Austin or Liz will take her if they are both still in the game. But even if Austin and Julia decide to take each other has final 2, Vanessa still has a far better chance to beat Julia in the final comps than Liz.
She has to realize that since Liz is actually a good comp player, and Steve can't play, the chances of Austin and Liz winning the next HOH is pretty good. So I'm assuming that they will target Steve since he has a better chance at winning in final two than JMac does. So let's say that Steve leaves, and Vanessa wins the final 4 HOH (best case scenario for Vanessa at that point). You still have Austin and Liz playing in the veto comp, which is actually the comp for the power in the final 4 because the veto winner is the deciding vote on sending the person home. So if Liz or Austin win the veto, they take themselves down and JMac goes up and goes home. Vanessa is now in the position where she has to win the final 3 comp in order to make it to final two since Austin or Liz will pick each other.
I believe I'd much rather have Austin and Julia playing in that final 5 HOH as opposed to Austin and liz because it not only gives JMac (and thus Steve) a better chance at winning, but if Austin still wins Vanessa can slide into his final 2 or at the very least increase her odds of winning the final 3 since Julia is far easier to beat than Liz in comps.

Of course Erika's presence in the all-star season really undercuts the title of "all-star.
Now that is someone who did not deserve an All-Star spot. The problem was they needed some attractive girls. I'd argue Boogie shouldn't have been on All-Stars either. That's not to say he didn't make the most of his opportunity and deserve the win. I remember reading that Will said the only way he would come back is if Boogie did as well.

I think without Boogie, Will would've had a lot harder of a time taking on the Season 6 alliance. Will needed a partner, especially for that season.

Why does Steve only talk like his mouth is full when he is in the DR? He sounds normal in the house
