Austin is a hypocrite and being a petty bitch. Sorry man, but he is. Now I'm not saying that Vanessa isn't a paranoid hypocrite herself, but Austin is definitely being one here too.
WTH is that suppose to mean? The right game? Please Austin.
Sure Austin...sure. I bet he thought she should've stayed loyal to him when it would've been the him and Liz against her, probably in final 3 (there ain't no way he's throwing the final 2 comps, no matter what he says). And who is he to say what everyone in America wanted. And who was he to talk about loyalty. He was ready to dump her in order to align with the gremlins. If Vanessa hadn't won POV and taken herself off the block, he would've sent her arse home.
Her paranoia may have prevented her from playing a quiet game like Derrick or an all time great game like Will or Dan (or even Derrick), but it was still 10X better than anyone else's game in that house including Austin's. The only reason Austin was in the position he was in was because Vanessa decided to offer the twins protection and pulled him (and the twins) into both 6th Sense and Freaks & Geeks (both alliances was formed by her).
Is he being serious here? The dude made begging and graveling at Vanessa's feet an art form. And he was constantly making promises with people (including Vanessa when she was on the block) and having every intention to break them.
Look, Vanessa's paranoia was on par with Audrey & Devin, and it was frustrating as hell that she wouldn't own her moves. But her fingerprints were on just about every eviction from week 4 on. Also, her lone idea to not only offer Julia safety for the twins, but to use them as the basis of forming two alliances were the two moves that dictated the direction of the season. I'm not saying she's a top player of all time or anything, but she played circles around everyone in the house, including Austin.

I stand by the fact that I don't think she played the right game.

The only difference is, I wasn't paranoid or swearing on things, and she could win things and I couldn't.

Players this season:
1. Vanessa
2. Steve
3. Austin
Austin rode Vanessa and had the twins. That's why he made it so far. He couldn't have done it if Vanessa wasn't there. Vanessa dictated how almost every week went. Steve played a quieter game but made all the right moves he needed to and knew what was bullshite and what wasnt.

I've never watched any of the other countries' BB shows. I'm taking it that they are worth a look? Is there the same type of alliances formed and gameplay and such on them?

quote:season 3 was the 1st BBCan season I watched. I have to say it was better than most seasons of BBUS. they were pretty much all gamers. my favorite things was they actually used their pov ceremony and pre eviction speeches for strategy and not just shout outs and telling everyone they love them. the format is nearly identical to the US version. basically everything is the same. I was a little upset that we got a bogus winner because of a coup d'état. Godfrey was the man

spencer and mccrae's jmac interview. after watching this I realized we all greatly underestimated jmac's gameplay. i'm not saying he was a great strategists or mastermind but he was more calculated and analytical than we gave him credit for. there was actual logic to most of his madness.
I never watched them before but I must say spencer is the best big brother interviewer there is. I will definitely start watching his breakdowns

I think he does a really solid job with his show. McCrae brings it down with all of the extraneous cursing and poor professionalism in his interviews. However, I must give him props for doing the editing/overlays/etc.
I still think RHAP is by far and away the best discussion of Big Brother. Rob actually does the job of a host, regulating the conversation and involving his guests and correspondents equally.
Spencer is definitely good; just not the best in my opinion.

I really wish BB did cast reunions like a week after the finale to see the whole cast together after they've spent time out of the house and jury and know how America felt about them.
That's one of the great things about the Survivor finale or even The Challenge reunions. Even though it's live, the cast already knows how they played on TV.
I'd love to see how Austwins and Vanessa acted in front of the entire group knowing how hated they were. Would be fun to watch them squirm especially when the other guests like JAmes, JMac, Becky and Jackie were so well liked and Austwins totally thought they were the favorites.

quote:yeah, I've said this numerous times. I would LOVE to see a reunion show after they all had time to watch the season and integrate back into society and learn how the were perceived. it would make for epic tv
